Completly false. Yuga Khan is the most powerfull New God, no other New God can rival him in power. Izaya is <= Darkseid. Yuga Khan vs Odin is another thing and is not necesary to debate about it here.

It was pretty plot influenced though. They were fighting inside the Source, which probably evened out any power difference. Izaya would soundly trump Ares in a normal battle.
