As lame as DC and the rest of the keebler elves, 'scuse me, "5d imps" are, from what's been shown I'd say the imps unless Shuma-Gorath is written again showing power beyond what the imps are capable of. Octessence should be non-factors.

Well don't let Kenshiroo see what you said about Octessence :-). Anyway they're big factors, really big factors. Visit thread Octessence vs Shuma Gorath to see how big factor are they, cause you will find pretty good scans there to show you how powerfull they are(the scans are posted by kenshiroo)

I was posting in that thread and I saw nothing Kenshiroo posted proving that the Octessence would do anything to Shuma-Gorath besides feed it with magical energy, which would just make Shuma-Gorath stronger.
hmmm... don't know.. if the battle is in neutral reals, then i'd say it could go either way.. but in the laters own dimensions the the octoessence and shuma-gorath wins..
