The First Born rips him apart. Mostly because he is currently the reigning tank of DC. While it's true he was knocked out by getting skewered by Diana, he has since levelled Apollo before moving on to Hades and now Demeter. Ocean Master simply isn't in the league needed to stop the First Born.

If Wonder Woman & Orion could barely fight off a weaker version of First Born, what makes you think Ocean Master (who is inferior to both Diana and Orion) can fight an even more powerful version?

First Born beats him with ease, there is literally nothing Ocean Master can really do.

I just wanna point out that first born killed Apollo.

The same Apollo who once insulted Diana and superman asked Apollo if he was a real God cause if he was then good, he didnt have to hold back. Then he did it again and superman got furious and blitzed him and Apollo back handed him with the greatest of ease.

First Born also beat Orion and Wonder woman at the same time.

Orion Stalemated/ held his own against superman by himself. And first born beat him and Diana at the same time.

That puts first born on a pretty high level.

@demonknights: Took out Superman and Wonder Woman.And what makes this better is that Superman is more powerful than either Orion or Diana.

I'm not saying Ocean Master wins, but if you guys are going to use nothing but ABC logic here, Ocean Master beat the entire JLA by himself.

You can claim they're on different levels, label one PIS and the other a legitimate showing (or what have you), because of your personal beliefs about how powerful they should be, but lets be clear about that since its what you're doing.

And like I said. Failed to kill batman. It's been debunked as PIS.

Aquaman's durability is improved since the beginning of New 52,it's clearly his healing factor help to withstand the later lightning attacks (yes he have a healing factor),also HELL he was able to walk throught lava recently without a scratch.

Ocean Master didn't wanted to kill the Justice League,that's is the reason they're condemned to the Dark Waters. He just wanted to knocked out Batman,because Orm isn't a killer (althought he killed a man to save a woman and her child in Villains Month).

Besides lightning strikes Ocean Master's Trident is capable to control the weather and himself can control the oceans as demnstrated while helding Wonder Woman into a water typhoon or summons a tidal wave.

I'm not defending Orm,but is time to stop to being biased and bullying people around...I agreed First Born wins,but is time to stop to lowballing characters and annoy people.

I know the instances you're talking about well. I have 66 New 52 titles with all of their issues updated. That's about 1200 comics. And aquaman is my favorite book. I'm simply stating facts.

@jonny_anonymous: my bad jonny...well to me ocean masters ability to control water, more importantly the sea gives him an edge, his mask gives tha ability of hydrokinisis which he actually manipulates water like mera..he has other magic abilities like weather manilpulation in the middle of the ocean almost gives him a strong allie with sea...his ability to send a being as the likes of JL heavy hitters to the dark waters seem plausible he could do the same to him...but I will admit...there is some good arguments that say otherwise...

First born was taken down to the bottom of the ocean by Poseidon and then hell opened up the earth and they buried him in the earth core for 7,000 years.

He's had pieces of his body eaten by Apollo, including his spleen.

He's withstood apollos full powers and took it and then killed him.

By killing him, he became the king of heaven.

He has these vein looking things that drain the life of those They touch.

He's strong enough to fight wonder woman and Orion at the same time.

He's killed hell.

Now he's the king of hell. And has power over souls.

He's defeated life(harvest) in her own realm.

I don't think this is close.

Yea Hercules wasn't even in his right mind. He looked and acted like he had an IQ of 65. I'm trying really hard not to call him the R word. But that's aquaman who fought him not orm.

@demonknights: @myerlanski: Herc had essentially been brainwashed, so he wasn't fighting as he probably normally would have been. We'll have to see when/if he appears again and is able to think as he actually can. As per the fight, he didn't really stomp Herc, he had to get help from some sea creature in order to even get him and then throw him in the Labyrinth.

But itsnt that reverting back to ABC logic again...an one can say that OM took out the whole JL at one time as well...anyway thanks for the info...FB is a beast...

You have the comics. You know the intsnces. But doesn't know to use logic and respect for charcters and the others users,so is not simply stating facts,because you haven't even analyzed any single fact.

Also I have read amost every single New 52 issues until the current day apart from Batgirl,Men at War,G.I Combat,Blackhawks,Green Team and The Movement and have respect thread for plenty of heroes and villains,including Aquaman...so what you meant with this math?

My point is that you're becoming an arrogant person. Saying that have read all issues doesn't mean anything since you didn't take a deep look,analyze carefully the feats as you mentioned the lightning strike failed to kill Batman,althought Orm didn't even tried to kill him.

Learn to respect the others an the characters.
