Jango Fett wrecked his tail in a one on one fight, and I see Steve as a much better combatant than either of the Fetts. Captain America wins.
Jango Fett wrecked his ass in a one on one fight, and I see Steve as a much better combatant than either of the Fetts. Captain America wins.
that was a weak version of Kenobi. He improved tremendously over The Clone Wars. By that logic Jango> Count Dooku and Anakin but that is not the case
@banthabot: What made him "weak" there? He seemed the same to me throughout both.
inexperience. That Kenobi's fighting skill comparatively sucks to Rots Kenobi who is one of the greatest of the era. The Clone Wars hardened a lot of Jedi, gave them lots of fighting experience and Kenobi had to regularly fight Grievous Ventress and Dooku over the course of the next three years. That Kenobi would probably be a pretty decent master level Jedi but Rots is one of the best damn Jedi the order has ever seen
@banthabot: I disagree. Nothing about his fighting style or application (or more notably his lack of utilization) of the force really changed. It's not like the completely apparent and noticeable jump that Captain America made between The First Avenger and The Winter Soldier regarding his fighting technique, speed, and skill level. I see Obi-Wan as generally stagnant throughout.
disagree all you like you are simply wrong. During the course of the war Kenobi improved tremendously. First off Kenobi had yet to fully master Soresu, the form that Yoda would eventually declare him to be the single greatest master of in the order. Plus there is the visual proof. Kenobi goes from being practice for Dooku to posing a lineament challenge, and a variety of other fighters.
Anyways heres a quote for Kenobi causing trouble for Dooku
"He finally registered the source of that blinding defensive velocity Kenobi had used a moment ago, and only then, belatedly, did he understand that Kenobi's Ataro and Shii-Cho had been ploys, as well. Kenobi had become a master of Soresu. Dooku found himself having a sudden, unexpected, overpowering, and entirely distressing bad feeling about this . . ."
