Nyarlathotep slurps up the phoenix force like soup.  Psionic attacks against his kind are suicide, if looking upon them causes insanity, mental contact will destroy you.

They are both bringer of chaos and yet the most powerful and distinctive property of the phoenix is also hope....what is destroyed can be rebuild...so in its fullest power...the Phoenix wins this over Nyarlathotep.

Nope, Lovecraftian creatures cannot be defeated, Lovecraft wrote it so that his creatures would always be vastly stronger than any other work of fiction's characters.

Some of these battle of these Massive Cosmic entities... seem to have no right answer since they both are the embodiment of creation and destruction itself... how does one beat the other ?

The Lovecraft creation wins, only another lovecraft creature can defeat a major lovecraftian entity.

Then this is a stalemate because this is a fight of writers' concepts.
The writer of Lovecraft just wrote it so so that no one can top him in a logical sense it is not at par to what has been written to far more developed characters of other writers. But is the Lovecraft creation capable of giving hope? Because at the end of the day Hope still wins even in the most unlikely battle.

I believe the concept of the unbeatable is too far out...it is a safe excuse but not realistic.

Lovecraft despised stories that give "hope" that's more of tolkien's thing.  Lovecraft thought that humanity is just a tiny speck in the universe, and it is.

The Phoenix Force stomps Nyarlathotep. Lovecraft did not in any way what so ever create his being to be greater than everything else in fiction. Nyarlathotep is a powerful, shape shifting alien who serves a powerful mindless deity of sorts. He is definitely over-wanked on this site. The Phoenix Force is an abstract concept made manifest.
