Nowa vs. Elina (Queen's Blade Battle!)

Nowa has finished her training with Alleyne, after having finally received 100 points. After moving on as a solitary protector of the forest, however, she finds she seeks something more, something against which to test her skills. Perhaps, if she performs well and creates a reputation for herself, she may be reunited with her instructor....

Meanwhile, Elina Vance has been alone as her sister Reina travels the earth without her. The Rebellion has not yet begun and she has not found a purpose in her life besides lazing around her castle and tormenting the servants. However, she hears word of a tournament to the south, and thinks that, perhaps, she fill find her sister there....

And so, the tournament began. While they did not find the people they were seeking, Nowa and Elina fought easily to the top of the tournament, at which point, finally, they were faced against each other.

@betatesthighlander1: The plot did interest me and I loved the characters. It also had really great action.

Then, yeah, fanservice.

Queen's Blade is an Ecchi series, not really a hentai. It is really funny to watch. And really, do you think it's more realistic to have people fight with super powers and weapons and their clothes remain almost entirely intact? Well, QB is the opposite of that thought. They fight, clothes get torn up. A lot. But it's still good.

@reikai: Yeah, it is definitely ecchi rather than hentai. Considering using Dark Nanael in a battle but have no clue who to put her against. Thoughts on the match?

And you'd think Nowa's lack of underwear would be in her favor, seeing as Elina is very clearly gay.

who would win between Elina and Darkseid

@betatesthighlander1: Darkseid. Elina does get fierce when Reina's involved but remember that she actually failed to beat Reina herself, despite the stakes being that Reina would stay with her if she lost.

anyways, I have a lot of trouble scaling QB characters against each otehr for teh most part (all pretty similar in power)

Personally, I'd back Elina for this fight.

@betatesthighlander1: Well, seeing as there was actually a lot of combat between them we did see an approximate tier system, though it was very loose.

For instance, we know that Reina, Alleyne, Echidna, Nanael, Tomoe, Claudette, and possibly Risty are > most of the rest of the cast, whereas Irma, Nowa, Elina, Cattleya, and Ymir are on a decidedly lower rung.

Elina lost to Reina (not saying much though, since so did everyone) but she also beat Nyx (albiet through PIS) pretty easily.

Nowa got owned by Echidna and Airi but managed to fight relatively evenly with Irma, and was also trained by Alleyne who's in the show's top 3 badasses.

So it's fairly balanced I think.

My memory of the series is admittedly a bit fuzzy, but I just feel her showings are a bit better than Nowa's. Then again, I could be proven wrong=)

@wyldsong: To my memory the only solid feat Elina has is beating Nyx, which didn't really involve combat. She just humiliated Nyx to the point that her confidence faltered and her own weapon tentacle-raped her. Elina was destroyed by Reina as well as Echidna.

Nowa is only a couple notches below Alleyne seeing as her training was completed, and she gave a decent fight to Irma that was never finished. Was also beaten by Echidna (and possibly molested a little bit) but then again, Echidna beats everyone.

I need to re-watch that series. Been too long=)

@wyldsong: I've seen most of it twice. *blush* haven't finished Rebellion though (can't find it uncensored and watching Queen's Blade censored is like eating popcorn with no butter)

Lol...I hear you. I need to do some searching, and I'll let you know if I find it, but there was an uncensored Rebellion streaming on the net somewhere.

@wyldsong: I'm sure there is somewhere, but I had difficulty, especially since Rebellion is so new. And omg, Luna! She is easily my favorite of the new cast (new Ymir is kinda cool too, it's more fitting than the princess outfit).

If this match take place in the forest I can definetely see Nowa winning, but aside from that Elina win

@nelomaxwell: That's Echidna, she has already sh!tstomped both Nowa and Elina, she's among the three most powerful characters in the series.

I'd back bitch...I mean Elina! Especially if she can get into Nowa's head like she did Nyx, and to a lesser extent, Tomoe.
