Kenpachi (eyepatch on)Vs Wolverine

First kill wins.

Can Wolverine even cut him?

Is Kenpachi on a whole other level entirely?

I think most Bleach Captains (and manga/anime characters in general) are ridiculously powerful compared to many comic characters, but I figured I'd do a battle just to see what others thought. I don't expect a whole lot of responses, but I know there are some Bleach fans here.

Kenpachi

Wolverine

Kenpachi in some areas would win hands down but...Wolverine has him beat with over all viciousness

I think in a fight where Kenpachi was to battle Wolverine WSolverine gets pwned on. Yes wolverine is an excellent fighter and has teh ability to heal and all that deep programming from the Governments that ran Weapon X. Cool, whatever. I say Kenpachi wins because Wolverine's few years as a progammed killer doesn't look like it would hold much against a guy who has been around for at close to the same amount of time, maybe more maybe a little less, as wolverine has been around. Where as Wolverine has only been a killing machine for about 30- 40 years, Kenpachi has been killing since he has been able to lift a sword. From what is said in Bleach Kenpachi can concentrate his spirit's power around himself so that he can't be cut unless you can do the same with you spirit powers. I haven't heard of Wolverine having this ability, but just for the fights sake, let's say he can. Kenpachi does have hieght, weight, and reach on his side (listed as being about 6' 7"). Kenpachi also shows great prowess as a fighter, using his experience and total disregard for his own well being to disadvantage in fights. He tends to be so absorbed in his fights that he picks up on other people's attack's weaknesses and openings quickly. I will probably post some vids of him fighting so people can look at references for this. Kenpachi earned his name by becoming the best Killer (Kenpachi is the name people are given in the Soul Society when they become the best killers and strong swordsmen) and runs the Gotei 13's most vicious battallion, the 11th division. To become the captain of the 11th division Kenpachi took the bloodiest path possible and killed the former captain in an open challenge infront of the other captains and others. I know I am pumping Kenpachi a lot, but we all know what Wolverine can do.

Kenpachi's sword is an embodiment of his spiritual self, so adamantium won't cut through it, so the whole Wolverine will cut through his sword argument doesn't hold water here. Kenpachi's sword itself is in a constant released form (Zanpakuto's have 3 forms sealed, released, and bankai. Released is the second form and is very powerful.) where it looks like a jaggeed and damaged sword. The blade itself is very long, probably the whole sword is close to five feet to five and a half feet in full length. Kenpachi also has the ability to use the Flashstep technique. The Flash Step allows the user to move so quickly that the human eye can't see them (Almost like a teleportation.) move. Granted Wolverine has hieghtened senses, but his body can't move anywhere near as quickly as Kenpachi can. Kenpachi himself keeps his power limited constantly so that he can enjoy a battle so that he doesn't have to kill his opponent in one hit, his eye patch actually eats up all the excess power his body bleeds off. Kenpachi also shows that his stregnth is incredibally high also, cutting through a brick building and hitting so hard he sinks Ichigo Kurosaki into the ground.

Wolverine is no slouch in a fight and can hold his own and I know his healing factor is so great that the guy has to constantly bite his nails so that he doesn't suffer from Sabertooth Syndrome, and that he is a bad ass fighter, no matter how many times he loses or has to have someone help him so that he doesn't have to lose, but the guy is just gonna be simple out powered. I know that there is no definate way to kill a cosmic entity like Wolverine, but given a one shot battle against Kenpachi I say he loses. Sure he will heal and come back, I don't care. Kenpachi cuts him down the first time, leaving Wolverine temporarily in an out of body experience while his body heals, but Wolerine technically dies, so the fight is over.

That's what I'm talking about when I say "ridiculously powerful". I tried to pick someone (a Captain) who wouldn't totally pwn Wolverine, but I don't think there is one. I went with Kenpachi because, aside from being my favorite Captian, he doesn't have any energy powers (destructive arts or a bizarre shikai or bankai) so I thought Wolverine might possibly stand a chance. I also thought the two were very similar, what with the urge to kill, ability to sustain massive amounts of damage and sharp and pointy weapons, but as I figured, Wolverine is severely outclassed, even without Kenpachi using his speed or full strength.

Nope, none. This Kenpa-whatever might be 'really tough' or whatever but as far as I'm concerned he doesn't exist. I tried watching that video but I couldn't get passed the life story the guys were telling each other before they fought. Feel free to bicker amongst yourselves on the matter.

if we ignore the spirit pressure. Wolverine wins imo. It will be a MESSY fight. Really messy. But Kenpachi doesn't go for the kill right away. He likes to cut away at people and that's just not going to work with Wolverine he heals too quickly. You need to lope off his head and be done with it. It's an endurance fight and Wolverine's got the upper hand there.

I do agree if you ignore the spirit power and make Kenpachi totally human then it would be a bloody and grueling battle, but Kenpachi with the eyepatch as his only limiter would mop the floor's with Wlolverine. Literally mop the floors using Wolverine's spine as the handle for his mop.

Wrong, people do care. Taking time to post that you don't care what I think is a contradiction. My vote goes to Wolverine due to my apathy of his opponent, and there is really nothing wrong with that because this whole site is speculation. Furthermore, existence is subjective. Some people believe in Jesus, Satan, Buddha, Moses, Mohamed, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Avian Flu. None of which are proven to exist, but people still believe in it, so it's real to them.
