This isn't a stomp either way. Deadshot does pull his shots on batman out of respect but at the same time despite batman being a better fighter (by a lot) then nightwing he is more agile. He could arguably be the better dodger then batman (despite batman being a much better fighter in terms of hand to hand). I think deadshot might have the advantage however.

Deadshot couldn't hit Nightwing if he wanted to in this scenario. Dick's been dodging his gunfire since he was 12.

@SUNMAN: Deadshot has tagged speedsters, I don't see Nightwing giving him that much trouble. Nightwing has dodged gun fire from fodder, not the best shot in DC.

Could go either way. Deadshot could hold off Nightwing with hand to hand combat for a while, but he'd get overwhelmed in close combat. Mid/Long range is Deadshot's best chance. Nightwing is also less protected than Bruce Wayne, and although he is more agile, his disadvantage is protection. While Dick Grayson has better dodging skills, if Deadshot even gets one shot on Nightwing, it's probably game over for him. (especially headshots)

Nightwing may win due to weapons and equipment however, it should be a good fight.

Nightwing's not some fodder hero. This is Nightwing, robin prime, the greatest Titans leader and one of DC's best tacticians. Some classic Batfamily evasionary tactics, a smoke pellet, and some projectiles Nightwing will have closed the gap and taken him down.

Nightwing may not have as good protection as bats but he has great protection.His costume is made up of a version of the Nomex fire resistant.triple weave Kevlar lined material.Also he is a lot more agile and quicker than batman.He was fast enough to catch Wally west's kick and tag Barry Allen with a wingding and agile enough to fall 3,000 feet from the sky and survive unharmed because of his acrobatic skill.He has also beaten deathstroke twice before and stalemated him a lot of times before.(which is a very hard task to just stay alive in a fight with deathstroke).So yeah I think nightwings got a better chance of defeating deadshot than deadshot has than beating him.

@jashro44: Nightwing's martial arts skills rival those of batman and deathstroke.He's the most acrobatic character in dc and the second best human fighter after batman.So batman isn't a lot better than dick with martial arts.Bats is just a little bit stronger,smarter,and a little bit of a better hand to hand combatant.

Since always. Floyd has a problem with batman because Bruce reminds Floyd of his older brother. So Floyd doesn't really want Bruce to die so he holds bacl.

@jashro44: deadshot first appearence involved him trying to replace batman and in the new 52 when the Suicicde squad stormed gcpd, deadshot fought with batman and we can both agree that the brother thing hasn't always been the case

Deadshots 52 bio confirms that deadshot was pulling his shots in his first appearance. I haven't kept up with the new 52 but post crisis yes this was always the case and it always applied.

There is a difference between a spar and an actual fight.

As far as skill I think Nightwing fights similar to Bruce, and Bruce being the more seasoned fighter and Dick's instructor it pays off whenever they have squared off. It's not a matter of skill, but an issue of student vs teacher, but Bruce is still another tier above Dick in skill.

For this fight I'd back Deadshot. Nightwing is good but the only reason Batman survives Deadshot's encounters is that Deadshot purposely pulls his shots on Batman. He has no reason to against Nightwing. I'd say Deadshot more often than not.

@jashro44: in his first appearence he didn't have the brother origin story and missed batman, than in another story batman ducked under a shot from deadshot. He may pull his shots, but let's agree that that wasn't always the case

Because it is the case.....Again there is evidence confirming your reference (which is a pre crisis story anyways) deadshot did pull his shot. Even if there wasn't batman had sabotaged guns before the fight....

Batman has beaten deathstroke before. Nightwing has never actually beaten deathstroke and there are more instances of him defeating nightwing with ease than the other way around.
