You clearly know nothing about Bane breaking Batman's back. He only was able to break Bruce's back after weeks of Bruce getting worn down, fighting villain after villain nonstop, not sleeping, and losing his will to be Batman. He broke a Batman that was already broken. Azrael was only able to win by making his lame a$$ batsuit, even then just barely. Batgirl would embarrass Azrael so badly it is not even funny.
I still dont see Jean Paul Valley so easily written off, he man-handled a lot of Bats enemies, and Tim Drake, plus he is the only one that uses lethal force

Lethal force doesn't mean anything. Most of Batman's rogue gallery can't fight worth a damn anyway. Ever notice how Batman's greatest enemy (Joker) is probably the physically weakest villain in DC? Azrael has never stomped anyone worth note, especially without the super batsuit. He handled a kid who is not that great of a fighter anyway compared to Batgirl. Tim takes after Batman's detective mind more than the fighting ability.

My memory of that entire story's a little rusty, and I remember the novelization more than I remember the actual comics, but didn't Azrael give Batman a run for his money in the final fight between the two (when Bats came back and Jean Paul refused to quit being Batman. I thought Bruce got the upper hand by screwing with Azrael's mind by pretending to be his God or something or other)?

Lethal force is only lethal if you can actually lay a hand on you're opponent.
You show his failures, all these characters have failures... how bout in the interest of fairness showing scans of Jean Paul carving the bat symbol into his enemies like Bane, Zsasz and so on

(Correct me if I'm wrong)"
He couldn't get past Azrael's armor so he tricked him into taking it off. Not really a run for his money though. If Azrael didn't have his indestructible armor junk on, it would have been a quick end.

I see.
Does Azrael have his armor for this battle? If Batman couldn't find a way past it then it's gotta give him a bit of help in this fight.

Your right, all these characters have failures. What I'm showing is how the character I support (Batgirl) could and would exploit the failures of Azrael. I'm not really sure what carving the bat symbol in Bane proves. Bane isn't Batgirl or even Nightwing. Batgirl was taking shots as well as delvering them to DC Martial Artists like Bronze Tiger when she was a kid. caption
Nightwing got owned by Raven, during his own wedding, Azrael could take Nightwing, he has armor even Bruce couldnt get past, and what will Batgirl do that said? I stand by Jean Paul Valley
She just got dropped by Deathstroke. She's laid out on her back already lmao Nightwing's so weak :P"
nope, I remember Johns saying in an interview, Nightwing pulled her cape to stop her from trying to kill Deathstroke and then knocked her out (the last panel ain't just a pose lol)

you do realize that Raven can take the three of them in a blink of an eye right?

Raven has superpowers that Nightwing can't match. Also, which Azreal are you using? The Batman version or just Azreal?

Hahaha dawg thats even worse :P He pulled her down from behind while she was attacking Deathstroke then sucker punched her lmao. My previous statement stands.
lol I still say that Batgirl wins and that the only case that could be made for Nightwing (who I think we can agree will end in second place) was that he recently knocked her out, but quoting myself "that can and should be included in all of the bad writing that the character has received"
" @blade hunter: Azrael is no Joke, Nightwing is out of his league in this fight
I'd recommend reading the captions for this next fight. "
Viper, while I applaud your effort, I doubt you are going to get a response on this one, at least not by the person you quoted, judging from how old that post is.
" @Morpheus_: lol I know, more addressing what he said, rather than addressing who said it. "
I take it you think Azrael can take Cassie, based on what I've seen you post on another thread? "
I think he'd win a majority, yes, but she definitely has a good chance. "
Cassandra enjoys immense respect by most here, I think your opinion could lead to an interesting debate, especially if Gambler notices this. "
Yes, Gambler is a huge Cassie fan, I've defended her at his side before. I would have trouble proving Azrael is faster than her. But he does have some nice superhuman acrobatic showings, has extrordinary strength. And has even more Assassins training via the System. btw I think I've found the boulder feat people have mentioned, but since you can't see the whole boulder we don't know how much it weighs, and also don't know if he was lifting the whole thing.
