Welcome! Here is nighthunder's annual Tournament. Here people of high tier staus shall brawl!

Rule

Rules? HHAHAHAHAHAH! We don't need no stinkin' rules; theres only two things to remember

Build a team of 4 characters, can be from any source, any place in fiction.

No character must be able to beat thanos with ease. However thanos, and characters on his level are allowed. Also: No flashes. Nope, not gonna have that. No wally, barry, bart, bebe, cece, none.

Two teams can have the same character..I don't want anyone have the exact same team however

All characters get standard gear

Prep is limited to earths resources, no leaving its atmosphere

Treasure chests:

Naturally, there's going to be a list of rewards for certain teams that fit certain stipulations

A team with only marvel characters are granted:

One extra character

Telepathic link for all team members

perfect team work

Given to teams with all DC characters

All members blood lusted

Perfect teamwork

Given to teams with all manga and anime characters

1 Extra team member * from manga or anime*

Telepathy immunity

increased speed for all team members; Everyone gets a speed bonus in all speed areas by 50%

For team's with all villains

everyone gains new 52 supermans speed and durability, and if they already have that, his speed and durability is added on to that

2 day prep ( no getting items that will make you unstoppable)

For teams with all heroes

Everyone gains the mind of batman, and strength of new 52 superman * its stacks*

Perfect team work

a days preparation

For teams with all 4 characters being from different genres or comics

new52 martian manhunter is added to your team

Supermans heat vision and solar absortion for everyone

increased strength and speed (every aspect of speed) by 60% for everyone

Everyone gains iron mans suit

Level up!

For teams with all video game characters

Ebony blade for each team member ( marvel)

Each team member gains regeneration on the level of wolverine

Each team members stats go up by 30%

No more mainstream

For teams with comic characters not from either DC or marvel universe

Team gains 2 extra members, one has to be from DC or Marvel however

a weapon from any source in fiction ( I'll say no if it's too powerful )

Bloodlust, in particular for evil teams, is more a disadvantage than an advantage.

@nighthunder: Which perk is that? manga and Anime? I meant from non marvel or DC comics. Like IDW, Dark Horse, image ect.

Do Perks stack? If so isnt that a bit unfair as everyone will go for the 6 Thanos level characters?

For pier pat, The villain perk grants an extra character, and the DC perk grants barry.

In drakraidens case, both hi perks grant extra characters

So yes, perks stack. And the point of this tourney is to have a team of high tier characters.

For the second question you poned, perks do stack, thus i get 4+2 from perks.

@nighthunder: Then I sadly bow out. Its too hard to think of a team I can debate well enough for to get 6 characters, and I see no logical reason to debate against 6 Thanos level beings with only 4 or 5 characters.

@nighthunder: I'm an expert about him, the only guy who knows more about Dormmy than me is CosmicSpiral, and yes, he's above the Tourney, Thanos vs Dormammu would be like Thanos vs Odin(Maybe worse), so no, and I disagree about the nerf , if he's too powerful then it means he shouldn't be here, restrict a character just because you want a fair fight isn't correct. PS: There's no Classic Doctor Strange, Current=Classic.

@asmodeus12345: no offense but I don't really think you have proven yourself to know a lot about him. I'd rather have an experienced viner who I've seen post much more about him give an option. Again no offense but I just haven't seen you prove yourself yet.
