He survived a fall from the top of a skyscraper, now what you said is a much greater height but thing is after you reach terminal velocity height does not matter anymore.
Now if he fell from a skyscraper and just got and went back to the fight it's not hard to imagine him surviving a cloud line fall.

To be fair, that was AoA Nightcrawler. Mainstream Nightcrawler has never been seen doing that to another person, so it's all just theory that he could.
