Nightcrawler vs Kitty Pryde

I know this is weird, I was just curious what a fight between these two would look like. One who phases vs one who teleports. Intangibility vs disappearring and reappearring.

Thoughts?

Kitty Pryde could win if she wanted to kill him. There isn't much either could do to hurt each other.

The only factor im guessing would be who would catch who off guard first.

That is basically what I thought- the loser wasn't paying enough attention.

Does anyone disagree?

When has Nightcrawler ever been slow enough to be caught by someone who walks up to him?

This is hard to call. Kitty has an advantage in that she can stay phased longer than Nightcrawler can teleport but it's still tough to call. Kitty has ninja training but Nightcrawler has the best agility out of anyone in the Marvel U (except, I think he's tied with Spidey)

I call it as a draw.

I could see Kitty trying to sneak up to him through the walls, floor, ceiling, so she could drag him in and solidify him. This would probably be her best course of action but it would take a long time to catch him off guard this way and she can only stay inside of something solid for as long as she can hold her breath. Any time she got close to him while she was visible and then tried to grab him he could simply teleport away. He's much quicker than she is.

However the one interesting thought I have in this fight is can he teleport while he is being phazed by her? If he can then he can let her grab him and try to phase him into something and just begin to multiport. As soon as the strain causes her to make both of them solid again, he can teleport her into something, teleport a part of her with him and leave the rest behind, or simply kill her with his bare hands because she would be too disoriented and tired to fight back.

but what if no powers where used in this fight? both are really well trained. Nightcrawler is a very skilled fencer and skilled in skilled hand-to-hand combat. He can also use his tail to weild a sword in the fight if need be. Kitty has shown to be an excellent fighter in hand-to-hand combat, having been trained in the arts of aikido, karate, ninjutsu, and Krav Maga. She also has a moderate expertise of the martial arts of the Japanese ninja and samurai.

They both are really rather flexible. Nightcrawler's bone structure is not that of a humans and this lets him contort his body in ways that give him an advantage. But Kitty is a professional level dancer in both ballet and modern dance; this gives her flexibilty and makes her form of fighting into something of a fluent dance. 
They have both previously been known to have the ability to wield the Soulsword.

With powers this fight could go on forever! but without them, Kitty would win, even though Kurt has the tail, he doesn't have all of the martial arts training that Kitty does. And with Kurt being a religious man, he would not hurt Kitty...but that depends on how far he is pushed.

So those are the reasons Kitty wins (but only without powers)

Nightcrawler teleports to the moon, leaves Kitty there, then returns.

Since when can nightcrawler teleport that sort of distance?

Probably end in a stalemate.

I see it playing out kinda like the fight between Kitty and Emma in the What If comic where Kitty ripped Emma's heart out.

Kitty probably wins.

I think nightcralwer would win. He can stick to walls and stay high up and in the dark so she can't find him, he could teleport between vantage points waiting till her guard is down, throw things at her and band away, keep doing it till she gets tired and then he can beat her.

Nightcrawler.

Could go either way. Both can potentially one-shot.

I think Kitty is overall more powerful, but Kurt powers are better for this match-up against her.

I give Nightcrawler a slight edge here.
