Nightcrawler vs Green Goblin

Nightcrawler is unarmed
Osborne has his classic Goblin gear (suit, glider, electric gloves, standard array of pumpkin bombs and razor bats)
Morals are on, but both are determined to win. Nightcrawler can't tele-dismember, tele-drop, or use any of the other insta-win techniques that everybody always brings up even though he never uses them.
They start out 50 yards apart, within view of each other. Norman is already in the air on his glider.

Kurt snags one of Norman's Pumpkin Bombs... and launches it at him from underneath... bye bye Glider. Norman falls several stories to the pavement... KO!

Kurt isn't putting Norman down. Goblin takes this.

Nightcrawler teleports, grabs Norman, then continually teleports until Norman passes out from fatigue from the teleporting.

It's the instant win move Nightcrawler always uses.

The only thing Nightcrawler has on the Goblin is his constant teleportation and trickery, it would not suit him well to be in a physical confrontation. If Nightcrawler does not have morals, he would win.. But with morals he loses.

Green Goblin

This is unfair not giving Nightcrawler any swords. If he had some swords to land a critical blow with his teleportation, Kurt would end him quick. But GG just has too much power with his gear and glider. GG takes it 8/10

Can you show an example of him doing it?

No, for real. I've personally compiled a really massive scan folder for Nightcrawler, but I've only ever seen one time in comics that he actually used that move.
If you have scans, or even just direct examples, of him doing that I'd love to see it.

@kaang_the_watcher: Against people he can't physically hurt he will engage in so called instant win tactics. Exodus, Omega Red, and Captain Britain are examples of that.

As Tele-disarmament is not out of the question, Nightcrawler waits till Osborn is safely above non-impaling ground and then teleports his Glider away.

@noone301994: Yea. I got it from ebay for 60$ 2 years ago. It's pretty cheap now.

I don't know how to post scans and I don't really want to go to the effort to find that myself, but I'll give you some idea of where you can find it. You'll see it a lot if you look at the older stuff in the 80's. Start at about X-Men #212 and work backwards and you should see it.

During the Morlock Massacare he used that move to take out Vertigo, but it left him tired afterwards and Riptide took advantage of it and shredded him to pieces, putting him into a coma and almost killing him. When he came out of the coma the X-Men were though dead and he ended up joining Excalibur with Kitty Pryde (who was also almost killed in that same fight). For the longest time after that he could only teleport once or twice at a time, so he couldn't use that move as a regular part of his repertoire like he used to (it was now a kind of a last resort move that could seriously injure or kill him if he tried it). Eventually he healed enough to do multiple teleports, and it is still stated that when he teleports with a passenger it is very exhausting for both him and even more so for the passenger, but for some reason he doesn't use that move as much any more.

@itsomething: Oh got ya. Yeah I can see that if writers did it right. Nightcrawler should be a king of the street level characters if he was done right. If he had his swords he could land a gut shot instantly and take him down.
