Deathstroke is a better fighter, while nightcrawler can teleport which makes him unpredictable for someone who never fought him. Though if deathstroke can dodge bullets at point blank range i give it to deathstroke who can think extremely fast, and can calculate his next moves based on what he has seen. Nightcrawler can grab him and tele him up in the air, but he has to let go of him, which i think deathstroke will just hold on and over power him.
Nightcrawler is not nearly as good in H2H or reaction time. He basically falls short in everything except that he can telleport. Though he moves in predictable patterns like shown in X-men when wolverine can predict his move becuase of them training together. It is Slade's power to calculate and remember peoples previous moves and counter them. Slade has been known to jump off of high buildings without injury, so if nightcrawler messes up once and allows deathstroke to grab him , it is game of for nightcrawler. I think the battle could go either way, but i have a hard time seeing deathstroke getting beaten by someone slower and less experienced. People are acting like it would be easy for nightcrawler to touch Deathstroke when bullets have a hard time doing so.
If Nightcrawler tried to teleport with short busts Deathstroke would understand the logic and put a bullet or sword through him. Even if Nightcrawler managed to drop him from a height Deathstroke could be protected by his armor or use his blast staff to blast from the Earth when he was very close to the ground. I'll go with Deathstroke.

This is the worst debate ever. If NC didnt want to kill him, he wouldnt fight him, or he would instantly teleport him into a jail. If NC did want to kill him he would instantly apear with a sword in DS's neck or head. There is nothin....NOTHING faster than instant, speed of sound, speed of light, nothing is faster than instant. There is no reaction time to instant. even if it too DS .0000000009 seconds to react, the sword is already in his head. This is the worst match ever.
Deathstroke for me. He's taken on better fighters/high level threats then Nightcrawler. He has the speed/reflexes to keep pace with NC's teleportation. He's stronger, has the tactical advantage, and he's better trained then Nightcrawler.
Deathstroke would cut him in half in 3 seconds. Teleportation isn't enough against Slade even though it is a powerful ability. I argued ermac vs Vader and pointed out his ability to teleport is a game changer but that's because he also is a Master Martial artist with super strength and has telekinesis to match vaders.
honestly Nightcrawler has demonstrated much more tactical skill with his teleports. all those times of him being tagged because of his predictability are all super old.
this is an unpopular opinion but the elf should carve him up. Nightcrawler is as fast as Wolverine really.
@jean_luc_lebeau: Nightcrawlers teleportation is instant, he's said it on panel but if you know his style well enough people have predicted where he will tp to next and have tagged him
Nightcrawler wins this imo but if Deathstroke was to spar with him and gain an understanding of what Nightcrawler does I'd give it to Slade, Nightcrawler has Bamfed lightning unless you can predict where he's coming up next he's incredibley hard to tag
