Can they take on Superman?

Yes for sure this will be a great battle with some bodies like black widow, wasp, echo, and hawkeye but other than that they can take him on

Superman wins in a very straightforward fight.
Non of the other combatants have the speed, strength or durability to avoid or resist his attacks.
If Superman went all out, this battle would take maybe 10 seconds (1'm being generous here to the Avengers).

Based on showings Wonderman´s strength is nowhere near Thor´s. He had problems lifting thor´s excersising bar and he have never exibited feats like lifting the Cosmic Serpent or repairing a canyon with bare hands. Wonderman´s boasting about his strength rivaling Sentry´s is not a proof about his true level. Sentry in Age of Sentry series was said to be able to lift a volcano and that is beyond anything Wonderman has ever done.
Can Wonderman match Superman`s strength. No. I can see Superman win this fight and his most dangerous opponent will be Iron Man

Like all Olympian, Ares is immortal, possessing a life essence that cannot be ended by any conventional means. Ares is very tough, like Hercules and Thor are. He can withstand huge impacts, for instance punches from his half brother Hercules.
However I don't see him regenerating quickly (if at all) from having his head cut off by heat vision or from having his head flattened by Superman's fist.

he is near the speed of light, so that literally means that if you flick a switch, they're all wiped out around the same time as the light comes on...

The only chance three premier marvel teams have against superman is if Sentry can overcome his agoraphobia or fly or whatever and actually leave the house.
