I searched this up online and it seemed like this hasn't been done. At least it hasn't been done the right way. Another dude made this, but took away Mjolnir from Thor… Which is silly. So, I figured wth, I'm bored, let's start a fanboy war. Heh. Jk. Anywho, here we go.
Superman has speed and heat vision and freeze breath but Thor can just lay the hammer down on him and win. But most likely superman will use all his powers before Thor goes hard so superman 6/10 although Thor could take a majority too
I feel like Thor can take it if he's quick enough (not in the sense of a speed blitz). If Thor can bring the Hammer down on Supes before supes starts using everything I believe Thor can take it, but Supes with all his powers takes it.
Im betting my money on Superman due to his strength, speed and intelligence. Magic is really the only thing along with Strength and durability to keep up with Supes. However, New 52 Superman's current strength, durability, speed and intelligence should take more than enough to take a majority. If you want feats, I can show you.
I resent that. It was still a fair battle that stimulated 8 pages of discussion with a split consensus. Someone did a battle before where they took away Supermans speed so my thread was fair game. Plus it hasn't been locked so it broke no rules.
Thor wins. The only advantages Superman has over Thor are speed and strength (by a small margin). Thor has superior striking power, more experience (he has been a warrior for thousands of years), better stamina and durability. Heat vision and freeze breath won´t hurt Thor. This is morals on, so superman won´t speedblitz him, and even if he tried to I´m sure Thor could react to him, many people think Thor is slow but he isn´t, he may not have incredible speed like Superman but that doesn´t make him slow, he can keep up with Superman´s speed.
@thor_parker82: I have to disagree. While Clark is stronger by a slight margin, he also has something else other than strength and speed that everything would be surprised with. This something would change this fight since this is the New 52.
He outclasses Superman in terms of striking power.
And Superman outclasses him in speed, reaction, versatility and cunning.
Superman.
Not in versatility.
Speed and reaction are pretty much the same thing, if you have speed you have reaction, and if you have reaction you have speed, so it counts only as one advantage (the only advantage Superman has over Thor, speed)
Like I said Thor has superior striking power, experience, versatility, stamina and durability.

Yes in versatility when it pertains to what would come into play in actual combat.
Most of Thor's more exotic abilities would never come to play in a battle against someone who is going to be blitzing him incessantly.
Speed and reaction are NOT the same thing. The fact that Superman can process information at a speed that beats electricity is something that will enable him to see Thor as a very slow moving brick. Sprinkled with his ridiculous combat speed feats he is going to hit Thor A LOT.
Not to mention that Superman's aerial combat is by far superior. He can play ping pong with Thor with his advantage in maneuverability through flight.
The rest of your claims are at best dubious.
Unless you wish to challenge me on that with some actual scans that we can play with.

Thor has more versatility in powers, and believe me they would come into play in a battle. Thor could trap Superman in a bubble just like he did against Hyperion. See the scan
Thor would realize Superman has the aerial advantage, so he would keep the fight in the ground. This is morals on, so Supes won´t speedblitz him, and even if he does Thor has already reacted to a speedblitz. See the scan
The rest of my claims are dubious ?
Striking Power: Thor has superior striking power, there is no doubt in that, everybody knows that.
He struck a whole in Exitar´s armor, the force of the blow was felt throughout the entire planet.
He knocked out the Phoenix Force.
He punched Galactus with Mjolnir and made him fell off his feet.
A God-Blast is more powerful than anything Superman can do.
Experience: Do I really need to prove this ? Do you really want me to prove why someone who has been a warrior for thousands of years has more experience than Supes ?
Versatility: Mjolnir can do pretty much everything Thor wants, I just showed you an example above.
Durability: He has survived being crushed by the weight of 20 planets
Survives an attack 1000 times hotter than the sun.
Unharmed by Ghost Rider´s hellfire.
Survived an energy attack from Thanos that destroyed the planet they were fighting in.
Survives an explosion made by four Mjolnir-level weapons
Superman´s only advantages are speed and strenght (slightly). Thor is superior in everything else.
Thor with Moljnir takes Kal-El every time. Explain to me how Superman would tank a few Godblasts, a cosmic hurricane, being sent to an endless black dimension, or any of the other ridiculous magic that hammer can conjure up. Lately, in my opinion the Odinson has shown combat speed near Clark's. The only advantage Superman has is speed and arguably strength, yet his weakness to magic allows the Thunderer to dominate. Freeze breath/heat vision won't affect an asgardian that has slaughtered countless frost and fire giants. I'm not sure if it still applies but at one point marvel relayed that asgardian physiology is immune to burning and freezing. I don't see much of a way for Kent to come out on top. Thor takes it.
Supermans "powers" meaning his heat vision & freeze breath won't work Thor is invulnerable to extreme temps . He found in the core of the sun & fights frost giants on there home turn regularly .
Thor & supes are pretty equal in strength but Thor outclasses him with striking power .
Durability I would say they're pretty much even .
Overall power goes to Thor . His god blast has taken out enemies like Mangog . His earth manipulation & his weather manipulation . A regale bolt made Hercules scream for his dad & supes had been seen to be effected by electricity Thor is the god of THUNDER & LIGHTNING .
Supes had superior speed HANDS DOWN but Thor has shown his capable of reacting to speed blitzing . Hyperion tried it & Gladiator tried & he's been shown to not be so slow himself . He moved so fast when striking Heindall he didn't se him coming & his movement caused a sonic boom . Hela said he moves as swift as the lightning he commands so the speed be a real problem .
The last thing Thor actually doesn't have a weakness , supes is weak to krptonite & has shown a slight vulnerability to magic . A hit from Mjolnir (which is basically magic) charged with lightning (supes been hurt by electricity plenty of times) with the superior striking power if Thor & that's bad news for supes honestly . Thor takes this fight 7-8/10 . Other than his fist he has nothing that can really hurt Thor & Thor has gotten hit hard before . Mangog all but beat him to a pulp & he hung Thor . Thor got back up & god blast in his mouth .
