i'm going with thor.......... mjolnir during the silver age and the bronze age had silver age superman in itself and came up with new, game breaking powers in every second comic

Classic Thor could match the Destroyer, Man-Gog and Surtur (to an extent). While I think Darkseid would probably win on most occasions it would be no cake walk. When written up to his max potential it would not be inconceivable for Thor to win. ... One thing I noticed about Darkseid in New 52 is that Diana's bracelets were able to deflect the Omega Beams. It might be possible for Mjolnir to do the same...

thor if written the right way could take out almost anyone including Darkseid

Classic Thor was a monster. If Thor nowadays was written like his classic days he would be the one to beat. He can take a close majority IMO

Darkseid takes this. Darkseid is the DC equivalent of Thanos and I'm not sure Thor can go toe to toe with Thanos.

Thor wins this one, back in the day Thor had the ability to freeze time, once he does this, Darkseid is a helpless child.

IIRC Classic Thor and BRB destroyed an object that dwarfed stars. Darkseid has trouble taking shots from Superman, I don't think he can take many from this Thor.

Thor easily. He tanked supernovas, destroyed objects that dwarfed stars, could create tornadoes that could allow him to time travel, and traded blows with people who could one shot planets and wreck stars.

Classic Thor in obvious reasons. He was in planet busting level in classic days and new Darkseid does not compete with that kind of power.

Anyone saying Thor wins has no idea what DS has done. So what if Thor is a planet buster, Darkseid took on multiple planet busters in JL.

Didnt Current Thor kinda go toe to toe with Surtur in Jounery into Mystery (not marvel now but a bit back when Asgardia was built,after him being weakened I think.)

Only by putting the trident in his eye, Thor has no sharp pointy objects that can touch his eyes :)

Like I said, if Aquaman can do it with that trident, Thor can most DEFINITELY do worse. I never said it'd be a stomp. I personally think Thor would win like 6/10 times and it would be a really close one.

lol the lightning bolt COULD work but I don't really know how powerful his lightning was back then, well i am not born in the 60's.. :d

In another encounter Aquaman had to put the trident to his eyes to harm him, WW even said we have to teleport him away.

Mjolnir is more powerful but its difference between blunts and sharp, Darkseid took Superman's planet level punches to the face without any harm at all.

Superman lifted a planet in strict for 5 days long, going by that fact, he can destroy it as well like he does with rock

Lifting strength=/=striking strength. Superman's best striking feat is shaking the whole planet, but that doesn't necessarily mean he could shatter a planet with a single strike like how Classic Thor and other Classic Marvel characters have.

Also, Thor has feats of destroying objects that have dwarfed stars and survived supernovae; Darkseid and definitely no one in the N52 JLA has feats that can compete with that.

Not together, Wonder Woman and Superman have about the same amount of strength, together they should be enough to bust a planet. Now add in 3 other powerhouses with similar power level. Maybe besides Aquaman.
