Probally spiderman in the same reason he takes other people of that strength level. Its all speed. Spidey just hits them till he wears them down like always.

Dude...Aquaman has this with little effort....the beach environment gives him an incredible edge....I would give Spider-Man an incredible increase in edge if it was a city terrain...where his webbing, speed, and agility could be utilized better.... Spider-Man is great at using his environment to his advantage...

But this setting and the many advantages that aquaman has over Spiderman...simple agility and precognic spider sense will not be enough...this time...

Aquaman drowns him

Aquaman most likely takes this. The battle takes place on a beach so Spider-Man would have less things to web, making it harder for him to perform a web incapacitation. I don't see Aquaman really budging to any of Spider-Man's punches or kicks seeing as he has taken hits from Wonder Woman. I also believe Aquaman could last until Spider-Man's web-shooters ran out. At this point its just a matter of Spider-Man dodging Aquaman with his superior reflexes and tiring him out. This would be extremely difficult seeing as Aquaman has gone multiple days in the desert without any source of water or food and was additionally injured. So its more likely that Spider-Man would waist more energy dodging Aquaman and tiring himself out first.

Additionally, Aquaman is once more near a beach. Now by technicality Aquaman can't really enter the water as a beach is where a shoreline ends. Basically meaning a beach ends where the water begins. However, Aquaman can still summon sea creature's to attack Spider-Man. Giant crabs, city sized squids, etc. (All though to be fair one of those put him in a coma.) And he'd have plenty of time to do this, seeing as he can jump across Boston in seconds giving him plenty of time to escape. (Might've gotten the name of the city wrong but yeah.) Anyway, the conclusion is that Aquaman would take this 7.5 out of 10 times and either one-shots Spider-Man with a pucnh or a jab from his trident.

I've probably read more about these two characters combined than any one person on this site.

What the hell were you thinking? What exactly do you think Peter can do to Aquaman that could allow him to win, even 1 match? The answer is: nothing.

The only thing Peter can do is run away. He cannot win.

Hell. Aquaman could summon a myriad of creatures from the Ocean that could give Spider-Man a hell of a fight.

It's threads like this that make me think most marvel fans dont know what they're talking about.

I gotta read the new 52 aquaman. He was my favorite in Flashpoint Paradox, and I love Black Manta. Just working too hard! Maybe I can get a part time job at the comicvine haha. I'm not a big fan of spiderman anymore because he's too emo in his new movies. The old school cartoons were better. However, Sam Raimi's movies (minus the third) were legit.

Well since it's on the beach, Spidey should win.

Spideys only edge is speed, and considering new 52 Aquaman blitzed Wonder Woman I don't see that as a problem.

@myerlanski: Hmmmm i can see that but its not that specific beach you know most beach have like rocks here and trees. Alot of times also haveing house, buliding, etc. I have read some of the new 52 i now see people are saying a stomp lol, but spiderman has taken on strong enemies like the Rhino, Venom, and sandman.
