No, I've established that the Mad Titan wins.  He is simply better with prep while Nekron is all style and no substance.  Plus losing to Captain Atom is just bad and that wasnt meant as a joke...he lost when it counted. "

Nekron would beat the hoper outta Thanos.  Even old captain atom had trouble taking on Nekron, and had to use tricks to fool Nekron.

Nekron would win here. Nekron is currently THE largest threat in the universe, he has the power of billions of Black Lanterns, and he has all of the emotional energy his corps can feed on.   He has a near infinite army of the dead at his disposal and is backed by his very own Power Battery. Even the writer Geoff Johns described him as the most powerful dark force it the DC Universe which ultimately proves his level of power.

Nekron would probably actually be closer to Oblivion, since he is not strictly death, but rather absence of both life and death, void. Either way he's way above Thanos. "

What do you mean hold power over?  If you mean being more powerful, then yes, quite a lot. If you mean control him through some connection to Death they both have, then no. "

Didn't Nekron kill Mongul Sr like he was nothing. That was the guy who beat SA Superman. Nekron can't actually die since he is like death/devil/evil combined. Only life or the strong will of life can beat him. Thanos craves/ is obsessed with death, he would eventually succumb to Nekron.

Shrugging off a blast from Anti-Monitor, and dispatching the same. Or how about tanking a blast from upward of several hundred, and likely several thousand, lanterns, with no ill effects.Or, if you want older feats, tanking blasts from several guardians of the universe with no effect. Or how about just plain fighting the embodiment of all life in the universe? "
