Nate atomizes Hal's ring. Game over. Seriously, there's absolutely no way Hal would win this fight. X-Man was (is?) the most powerful telekinetic ever. Bar none. It's extremely hard to compete with something like that. Not to mention any psychic barriers Hal might have mean squat. Nate literally dragged Xavier out of the astral plane. He fended off Marvel's most powerful telepath pretty much unconsciously.
