Naruto vs Cloud Strife

Can Naruto defeat Cloud Strife or is this a curbstomp.

I honestly have no idea what Cloud can do. I only seen him the movie. So I can't say.

Though, maybe Sasuke could take him down.

i have no idea what naruto can do but hes lame and cloud is funktastic so cloud uses ultima and wins.

Cloud is pretty far below Naruto in skill and feats at this point.

Cloud Caps at maybe Chunin Exams to Sasuke retrival arc level Naruto and that's without any tails

Cloud loses this for sure but he far greater than the Chunin Exam version of those characters. Cloud is more around Sage Mode Naruto level of physical stats.

Either way he's not winning without materia to boost him and his chances.

@kajin_style: Based on what? Without vague scaling to certain summons cloud is as street level as it gets high street but still street level. What attacks have we seen outside of gameplay.

Cloud = Sephiroth >>>>> Zack > Bahamut Fury.

Bahamut Fury is a casually MFTL and solar system level character. Without wank/memes I genuinely don’t know how Naruto would be at that level. And EoS Cloud is roughly scalable to Sephiroth. Also I don’t even need to touch on Cloud’s hax magic.

Not sure why the notion of FF7 characters being street level at best is still a thing when Sephiroth is consistently regarded as a threat to the planet itself (and possibly much more) and there’s blatant feats of people like Cloud fighting on equal footing with him. There’s other summons that have been stated to be planetary, which Seph naturally would be above due to him also being the strongest FF7 character (pre endgame) by WoG. Sephiroth even implied at one point that Cloud had gotten powerful enough to be a notable adversary/threat to him, which is proven later on in the same fight when he gets mollywhopped by the Omnislash, the same attack he was previously no selling.

@hotcheetojuice: Sephiroth is a threat to the planet because he can Summon meteor with the help of the Black materia, if Sephiroth was a planetary or even continental threat he would just wound the planet himself, Advent children final scene also show the level at which those characters operate and Cloud and Sephiroth fight destroy part of a skyscrapers at best place them as end of part 1 Naruto.

@funguy31: I actually agree, Sephiroth is mainly planetary/above with his DC in terms of his magic, which Cloud’s does scale to and he’s been able to take those same attacks before. In terms of them destroying pieces of skyscrapers, that’s not an anti feat, because AP =/= DC. Like they could have universal+ punches and above and still have no means of destroying anything around them when they fight, because they lack the DC with their physical blows which I was not trying to argue against in the first place.

Their AP should still be planetary and above though, based off of scaling from Bahamut Fury who can tank his own attacks/Zack.

But despite all of that, even if they were only around building level from those Advent children feats, there’s still Cloud’s magic and his speed, which is enough to see anyone in Naruto (even currently) as a statue.

@hotcheetojuice: Can you show any speed feat of cloud please I highly doubt he is as fast as Naruto who dodge one of Madara attack going at lightspeed considering that again in advent children we see him get shot, I also have some doubt them still being universal considering with their punch since their nothing like Ki to explain their lack of destructive feat.

@funguy31: Cloud more or less roughly scales to Sephiroth in speed considering that he can keep up with him in combat and at some points he's able to blitz him, like with the Omnislash. For reference, Sephiroth is much faster than Zack Fair, who was able to keep up with and react to Bahamut Fury at many points in their fight. Bahamut Fury is the same summon that can fly from Neptune to Earth in about 9 seconds.

For reference, the distance between Neptune and Earth is a whopping 4.3 billion kilometers. 4.3 billion KM in 9 seconds is 1593.6951215 C, which is massively faster than light.

And you can see here that Zack is able to keep up with this same Bahamut Fury, and eventually defeat him. He also reacts to him in the cutscenes.

To put into perspective how much faster Sephiroth is than this, he's rated as a 65 in speed, while Zack is rated as a mere 8. That is 12,948.7728 C. Again, MFTL. And something else to mention is that that was pre lifestream Sephiroth, before he fell into that magic and it made him even stronger. Post lifestream Sephiroth is the same one that Cloud is able to contend with, and like I said, he blitzed him at some points. So even if I were to grant Naruto having LS reactions, he is hopelessly outclassed.

It's overall inconsistent with him casually deflecting bullets on every other occasion in the movie, plus he was was caught off guard and nearly blindsided by Kadaj. Also it's not like being faster than bullets isn't once again supported with Zack's own feats of bullet timing, or when he was casually dancing around gunfire from numerous directions and seeing the bullets in slow motion.

I didn't say they were universal lol, I'm saying that even if they were, they wouldn't have to be destroying everything around them. There doesn't need to be any explanation for them not destroying their surroundings, because AP=/=DC and that's just basic science with real life examples. Like for instance, a sword can affect a wider area than a bullet, but a bullet is overall doing much more damage in one concentrated area. Or meteors can have 10 megatons of TNT (which is city level), but they only make 1 mile wide craters when they hit the ground.

Naruto is Uni+ and immeasurable speed. Naruto stomps.

Naruto. This is a glorified popularity contest (for some people) up in here though. FF characters show their true capabilities in cutscenes and movies and unless I've missed something (I've played FF 7 and Remake + watched all the FF 7 related movies), I've never seen them at Naruto tier.

@nomar: you should know he's at least planetary then, the meteor is planetary, already above naruto's destructive power. Post ff7 with the geo stigma problem buffs him to universal+
