Naruto Uzumaki/Sasuke Uchiha vs Johnny Blaze/Danny Ketch

Current Naruto and Sasuke. Johnny and Dan are circa War of the Ghost Riders, meaning Dan can fly.

The fight is to the death or until one team is incapacitated. No BFR allowed. We will assume that the Naruto team's power ups from Hagoromo count as divine powers so the GRs can be harmed. Telepathy = Genjutsu.

They fight in destroyed Tokyo with a starting distance of 800 feet.

Which team wins?

I mean, it does make sense. Hagoromo is a god and have them powers, so they're technically divine powers.

To my knowledge, Johnny gave Thor trouble recently, so I thought the Naruto team would have their hands full.

Sasuke has too many sins that he doesn't regret.

The Ghost Riders go into seizures.

@leo-343 I'm not talking about Genjutsu. Ghost Rider in recent times has had trouble with characters who have either have too many sins or those who don't regret their sins. Sasuke is a prime example of this.

@dondave: well he does have one sin he regret, killing his brother.

So many Naruto vs comics battles recently... take it easy, people.

None of their physical attacks will work, and if he tries to use Genjutsu then he's going to learn the hard way that Penance Stare > Illusions.

I dropped thunderbolts after venom left but did this occur after ghostrider used the penance stare on venom?

@jashro44 Yeah in his fight with Punisher, Frank no sold the Penance Stare because he had no regret over all the murders he'd committed.

Read this freaking scan lol. This is how the Penance Stare works. It has NOTHING to do with your morals, your regret, your sins. All it does is force you to relive and feel all the pain you caused to anyone at the same time! Here it works on Blade with a power amo to boot. Lets read the highlights.

Here he uses it without trouble on Madcap! A Psychopath being with INSANSITY STARE. Thats how crazy and moraless this guys is. Works on him fine.

Works just fine on Dr. freaking Strange who has the great TP feats and sound mind of any character.

Works fine on Deadpool who is clearly KOed for a time. The Spirit of Vengeance left Johnny alone while Johnny looks around confused, proving that the Spirit reverted Blaze back and not shut down by Deadpool craziness. If it works fine on Madcap who has insanity powers, it works on Deadpool for sure.

Contrary to popular beliefe it has worked on Venom to a degree. Eddie Venom suffered major blow from it. But the suit had a unintended effect.

PS fully works fine after being used on other Ghost Rider even!

Now when has it failed?

Fails on souless people. Makes sense since its a soul attack! Like Hellfire.

Fails on Blackheart becuase he is a Hell Lord who is empowered by death and pain! Makes sense.

Fails on the Deacon, becuase he had a special stated plot device protection from it by the Angel zadkiel. Makes sense too.

What does not make sense? Punisher resisting it do to no regreting his sins? Venom backfires it cuase he has too many sins? This is not how it works. Venom has more sins than Blackheart who is made of sins!!!! BS! Whats funny is both cases are in the Thunderbolts which points to clear mishandling of the GR character with WIS/PIS.

Now that nonsense is cleared up. I doubt team Naruto divine powers will work like some may think in this thread.

Thor's hammer is divine, and can kill Vampires with its holyness. Buuuuut....

It has little to know effect on him in the latest battle of Ghost Rider vs Avengers.

Also doubt Genjutstu will work as many powerul beings in TP and Illusions failed to control or sway the Rider. Examples include Nightmare trying to get into GR's head as well another Telepath. Blackheart and Mephisto fail to get into his head it seems too, and Zadkiel with the power over all things heaven had no sway over the Angel Riders.

However powerful magic can harm the riders. Is chakra magical?

@ls1111: I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Has ghost rider ever returned from atomic dismantling?

@princearagorn1: not to my knowledge. But I do not think it would work as long GR hellfire body remakes itself. GR feats of hellfire regen is a magical energy regen. Hellfire itself is capable of transmutation or creating solid constructs from energy.

Not sure if it would work.

Naruto and sasuke seal ghost rider? I know ghost rider can travel through dimensions but they sealed kaguya who can also travel through dimensions.....

It would depend on the difference in the seal. All I can really say is Kaguya was teleporting between dimensions and they managed to seal her inside the moon. She couldn't escape for some reason.

In your scans there is mention of vengeance, misdeeds,innocents and murder. So what does this mean exactly ?

Does it mean that the pain felt is limited to misdeeds and the pain inflected on innocents ? (like would you feel the pain from killing the joker or some other villain ?)

Is it limited to the pain of those "killed" or does it also include those who survived ?

Pain that can affect every cell of the victim's body, days worth of torture experienced instantly, mind shattering experience.

This doesn't make sense. Doctor strange can seal someone like dormammu who is suppose to be on par with Odin but can't seal ghost rider? Are you sure he never had prep against dormammu?

EDIT: Granted admittedly ghost rider is more powerful than kaguya which is why I wasn't sure if it would work.

@ls1111: and the hellfire regen is capable enough to work at molecular level? Having regeneration does not mean you can regenerate no matter how badly damaged..

Ghost Rider team with some diff since EVERY attack is now holy. But Hellfire rain and Hellfire clones and Hellfire combustion and Chains should be enough.
