Since the late 90's Namor's appearances and fights, have become not only lackluster and dull, but he has one of the worst win loss records, i know he has given way to more popular characters, But like Iceman, most writers don't seem to know what to do with him, so he is made into a semi Jobber.

Namor has beaten savage hulk twice, beat BRB IIRC and was beating Ares and Simon together. He is comfortably in another league compared to the Thing and cage

got a classic book {early 80's}with hulk vs namor iirc,namor was giving classic hulk a hell of a fight i remember,probably wont beat brb though,but classic namor is way above namor nowadays.

Namor had the upper hand because of the rainshower that Dargo summoned. He would have been dealt with immediately if not for that.
