Hasn't Aquman given Superman a good fight? I was always under the impression that he was better than Namor in every way except Namor could fly.

I know in New 52 he lifted a ship. He also fought plenty of heavy hitters.

However in doing this, it's important to cite specifics! (such as versions/variations on the character, issue numbers and arcs, etc...)

and then it's important to use scans to back up arguments (to prove a point and show validity)

Now onto the title:

Namor Vs Aquaman!!

Strength wise I would honestly give an edge to Namor. Overall he has been the stronger character, and Aquaman has only recently been an upper echelon strength character in the new 52. Namor has been shown to be in the strength levels of beings such as Hulk and Hercules in the past and there is also the ever prolonged issue with Ben Grimm.

In a straight up strength contest.....Namor solidly beats Arthur.

Namor has far more recent low ends than Arthur who has been consistently fighting heavyweights for a few years now. His blocking of the Dead King's continent buster attack and knocking out Hercules are just a few examples.

And underwater, Aquaman is so much faster it isn't even funny. Namor gets a hypersonic lunch to the face.

Flight won't matter in either situation, round 1 takes place in a small ufc octagon and round 2 takes place underwater...

Round one honestly could go either way, but Namor has had a steep decline in feats recently (recent years).

Round two Aquaman uses his huge speed advantage to beat Namor.

If this is the Namor that used to give Hulk, Thor and Herc trouble then I take him over Aquaman in a straight up fist fight. If this is the Namor that was nerfed and gets beat up by Thing then I'd take Aquaman.
