Nabu has been up there on a level that describes characters like Black Flash and Mxy, his powers are beyond even Pre Crisis Darkseid's so IMO he won't even need to put up a defense against the Omega Effect

Darkseid at one point makes a deal with the Lords of order and chaos (Or rather intimidates them into making a deal) to destroy Doctor Fate and Nabu. He confronts Nabu in his apartment and mocks him about what he was become, and throughout the scene Nabu is so plastered he can't even stand up straight.

this is an interesting battle... though if I recall correctly Pre Crisis Darkseid defeated PC Mordru... who in fact was a very powerful Magic User himself...

Could be, but like I said, I didn't read it. One thing is for sure, he didn't stay human for long.
Of course you would. Any fight Darkseid is in, means that you are 99% likely to adopt the other combatant as the winner, despite evidence to the contrary.

Darkseid had problems with Pre Crisis people in capes, Nabu would have just blinked them away. Nabu is on a whole otehr level than even Pre Crisis Darseid
Precrisis Darkseid defeated the Time Trapper and Mordru. Those 2 are powers that rival Nabu. Mordru was magically as gifted as Nabu (possibly even slightly more so). PC Darkseid proved capable of swapping the position of 2 planets across at least thousands of light years. He has mentally enslaved the entire population of planet.
Nabu. Dr Fate has manipulated Darkseid, Highfather, Orion and Etrigan at the same time to destroy the Anti life equation's dimension/universe. Nabu is a lot more powerful than Dr Fate.
Nabu was able to give spectre a run for his money. And it was a spectre amped by all magic on earth. And he needed to call upon the powers of the presence to end him.(DOV)
What actually is, is that nabu wanted spectre to kill him so that the presence may put his dog on a better leash.
Yeah, spectre stomped Darkseid.
As will be the case with nabu as well.
Darkseid would take dr fate (perhaps not the current one).... That's it.
