Mysterio vs The Riddler

Location: An abandoned warehouse 
Scenario: Nobody knows who Mysterio really is under his helmet, and Riddler is dying to find out the answer. He has been doing research and investigating for two weeks now, and finally comes across a clue that leads him to this abandoned warehouse that Mysterio is supposedly hiding in. Just as Riddler enters the warehouse, a security system alarms Mysterio and he sees the intruder. It takes 15 minutes for Riddler and Mysterio to finally come face to face, and a fight ensues. Who wins?

Mysterio...He will make an illusion that makes Riddler think that his question marks have turned to exclamation points...

Mysterio wins easily, but, to be fair, Nigma is one of only four Batman rogues to find out Batman's identity (the others being Hugo Strange, Bane and Catwoman).

I Mysterio's last appearance (Guardian Devil) his suit was outfitted with cybernetics that enhanced his strength to superhuman levels. If this is a straight up fight then he wins.

It's clearly stated at the end of Hush(you know the actual story) that everything was planned by Riddler.  He was the one who figured out who Batman was and was clearly the one who was able to convince Hush to help out with his plan and recruit the other villains.

 It's clear you just have an issue with the story for whatever reason and it's coloring your perceptions. Although I'd say Riddler with prep would be able to take Mysterio without prep. However...

@entropy_aegis: Suuuuuuurrrrreeee, because beating up batman while amped up on Venomand having to be machine-gunned down, as well as Zero Year, makes a villain uninteresting.

@grievous88: Did Riddler plan to get Venom pumped into him? Uhhh nooooo, that was Bane. I didn't read year zero, but I did read Knightfall. I don't see why you'd say that unless you didn't actually read Knightfall.

@senator_estro: My point was Edward isn't an uninteresting character like he said. Oh, and Entropy? You should read Catwoman: When In Rome. It should help change your view.

@g_bird: Riddler is smarter definitely but isn't exactly a great hand to hand combatant and doesn't utilize illusions
