Mysterio and Scarecrow vs Spiderman

who, how, any why?

Spider-Man. After his upgrade in "The Other" his spider-sense has kicked into overdrive and so he can sense where the real danger is when fighting Mysterio and Scarecrow. Not to mention his physical attributes are incredible too. Peter has shown a resistance to any fear induced illusions, during both the Civil War, and in Reign (alternate Universe, but same concept). Pete should be handle these two goons no sweat.

i think between the 2 of them they could break him down with images of his family dieing and using what ever other fears he may have, i think he could only take so much.

That's been tried before as well. Peter is one of those people that over comes his fears to stop the greater evil and if he knows what he's being shown illusions (which he has before when fighting mysterio recently) than he'll see through them. Peter's like that. I'm sure he can get out of it.

yea but his spiderman would probably overcome that and while he sees the bad images he can just rely on his spider sense (which is awesome)"

yeah that's what I'm getting at, the toxin works on all his senses and should work on the spider sense as well and it doesn't just show him any fear but it shows the infected what they fear the most. Mysterio and Scarecrow would probably work together pretty well with Mysterio's knowledge of spiderman and Scarecrows fear casting abilities.

yeah and one of the bast parts about this battle is it could start with out spiderman noticing it least i don't think Scarecrows fear gasses would kick off spidermans spidersence. Batman even had trouble fighting through Scarecrow's illusions.

Batman and Spider-Man are two totally different people though. I'll give you an example even though it's from an alternate/future reality. Peter inhaled Mysterio's pure, fear, halucinagenic gasses and fought through them while fighting Kraven.

Interesting thought, but I dont think you can claim that the fear dust would work on a sense that Scarecrow had no idea of. Just because the write up says that it works on all senses doesn't mean that if some alien came to other and was exposed to the toxin, that the toxin would work on all of his 56 senses. It says it works on all senses because it works on all known senses, so I wouldnt assume that it works on the spider sense."

that's a good point i don't know if it would work even with a high dosage, i guess it would be something that would have to be better explored in the comics.
