@k4tzm4n: Quick question in part 2 of the Dark Knight Returns it's said that Superman is in it does that mean Batman and Supes will fight? Anyway I think Nightwing takes it seeing that Batman at such an old age was able to fight the Leader. Nightwing is in his prime and youth he shouldn't have to much trouble.

Nightwing should probably win. The mutant has some great pain tolerance but I think nightwing is more skilled and probably faster. The mutant was fast for batman but that was partially because batman was old. So I think nightwing should be able to match his speed since he is more in his prime.

Read the comics, man. The Dark Knight Returns is one of the greatest Batman stories ever written.

About the battle: I see Nightwing as fast enough to avoid ML, since the Leader more focused on strength and pure outmuscling of Batman, at least to my recollection. Bruce said something to the effect of "I shouldn't have tried to take him on strength-to-strength. He's too ferocious, too powerful for me now." I read the fight as Bats basically brawling at the beginning, and by the time he tried to use skill he was too weakened to pull it out. If Dick doesn't try to brawl, which he's never really shown to do, I think he can take it.

Yes but that was because batman fought him in some mud and he couldn't move as fast in the mud.

Robin saved Batman in the first fight. The second fight (in the mud) Batman won on his own.

Why do you think that was, that Bats couldn't beat him at first, but took win on and won later?

Anyway, I think Grayson's got this. His superior skill, agility and speed should be enough to take the Mutant Leader down, considering how used he'd be to fighting bigger guys, and honestly, he's fought bigger then the Mutant Leader.

Batman was too slow for him and tried to beat him through strength and talent on even ground. He couldn't. The mud made their speed even and gave him the opportunity to land more damaging strikes (for example, the nerve strike to his arm).

Ah, so he beat him using the environment? Clever.

I was gonna come in here and Cyclops wins her der der because mutant leader haha, I so funny. And then I realized...he's dressed like Nightwing right now too....ruined my chance.

Anyways, I'd probably give it to Nightwing. Bruce was old in his fight and Nightwing is a little more agile than Bruce in his prime. He should be more skilled than the leader anyway and with Grayson's upgraded electro escrima sticks and other new gadgets he should be able to pull the victory here.

I still see Grayson taking it with superior agility and skill. And he's been employing new tech often too like his sonic disks which might give opening edges. Though I could see a case for the leader due to pain tolerance, strength and just enough skill.

Um k4tz,Damian owned Mutant Leader.Granted he was obviously not as experienced as he would later go on to become but Damian is still a kid while the Mutant is an adult in incredible shape.(Batman Incorporated #1).

Simply put ML is just a fairly strong,fast and skilled human,a vastly watered down version of Bane at best,Dick owns him.

As seen Batman is hitting Nerve Clusters and Damaging areas. The Mutant Leader is totaly unaffected. Batman has Strength to clips the Tallest Tower in Gotham while holding a 200+ Pound Man. Yet his best shot is laughed at.

Batman then beats him by slowing him down in Mud and Blinding him with Eye chops and Mud to the Face. Yet Mutant Leader is still getting hits in. It takes Batman breaking every Arm and Leg to win the match with his Skill......

Now no Human has EVER broke from Non Tampered Hand cuffs. Those Hand Cuffs are not even standard Arresting Handcuffs. Those are Prison Shackles and are restricting the Mutant Leaders Strength to Rip them Apart.

Now Dick has a host of Feats but what we do know is the Mutant Leader more than match a Older (but still Peak Human in Durability and Strength) as skilled All Star Batman.
