Mr. Sinister's really impressive with his abilities, and Holocaust was only beaten by Hyperion. So who do you think wins?

Holocaust was also beaten by X-Man in Age of Apocalypse.

Was he? I thought that it was the other way around? I'll ask Scotty. AoA was his favorite time period.

Holocaust can just absorb Sinister's energy and leave him a heaping mess. There's no way to damage that armor of his unless there's sufficient force which Sinister lacks. Holocaust is basically a walking tank. No way for Sinister to beat him. Period.

Don't forget that currently it would appear that Sinister may be losing some of his powers.

The reasoning is unclear, but this could be another plus for Holocaust.

Before he started losing his power I thought the only thing he couldn't instantly heal from was a blast from Cyclops?

No, that was later shown to be false but I cannot remember clearly why (change in writer probably).

It does seem that many of the grafted powers he made for himself as starting to fade, like the shapeshifting.

Nathaniel Essex takes it... anyways Holocaust was also(only) beaten by Magneto (AoA)

@Eternal Chaos: holocaust is vulnerable to telepathic assault.  Sinister can beat holocaust with his telepathy and defend himself from holocaust's attacks with his telekinesis.      %Pr
