the wack tv cartoon has nothing to do with the marvel universe comic book! And since mr. myxlpylx is dc and galactus marvel the twain shall never meet. Unless it's a dark phoenix and darkseid type scenario, sine?
Remember, guys, Mxy's powers are only limited by his imagination. So if he imagined that the solar system turned into a pumpkin, then it would happen. Same goes in his fight with Galactus. If Mxy imagines that Galactus turned into a cow, then it would happen. I don't think Mxy would want to hurt Galactus though cauz Mxy's not a Bad person,he's mischievous. So I think he'll probably turn Galactus into a sumo wrestler or something, watever.

DC doesn't have an omniverse. They have a multiverse.
Mister Mxyzptlk is one of the most powerful reality-warpers in the entire DC Universe, making him one of the most powerful beings ever to exist . Mister Mxyzptlk is an imp from the 5th dimension. In our dimension, Mister Mxyzptlk seemed to posses an infinite amount of power and an incaculable amount of magical might, when in fact, it is actually extremely high technology from the 5th dimension that dwarfs the powers of even third dimensional cosmic entities, such as Eternity and Infinity. That is because mister Mxyzptlk possesses "two degrees of infinity" more power than third dimensional beings. Also, 5th dimensional imps are not bound by the same laws of physics in the 3rd dimension.
Mister Mxyzptlk's power seems to be limited only by his will power. For example, if Mxy wanted to turn Superman into a trashcan by snapping his fingers, it would happen. If Mxy wanted to turn the sun into a pumpkin, it would also happen. Some of the feats done by Mxyzpylk include :
destroying and recreating the entire DC Multiuniverse in an instant with a snap of his fingers, destroying 51 out of 52 dimensions in the DC Universe in an instant, turning the entire universe into his playground, beating a fully-unbound and fully-powered Spectre into a pulp without difficulty,
and much much more. Emperor Joker ( Joker weilding 99 percent of Mister Mxy's power) was able to turn a lesser version of the Spectre into a deranged puppet easily, unweave the very fabric and laws of the cosmos, as well as twisting the world into a disgustig and horrifying place in his imagination. Emperor Joker was even able to twist logic itself, making the whole world believe that 2 + 2 = fish.
Mr. Mxyzptlk usually tries to make things as interesting and as fun as possible for himself. In battle, he likes to toy around with his opponents, because simply wishing them out of existence is way to boring for him. Mister Mxyzptlk enjoys using his powers in an annoying way more than anything else. In fact, his joking and guilable personality usually leads to his downfall.
Mr.Mxyzptlk has one weakness. It is actually a law he imposed upon himself. That is, if he is tricked into saying his own name backwards, he will be banished back into the 5th dimension.
However, for some reason that I don't know, Annataz Arataz was able to prevent Mxyzptlk from using his powers while he was Superboy-Prime's prisoner.
As for Galactus, someone else do him. But Galactus is far weaker than Mxy, without doubt.
