The big Galactus wins because he is known for his huge fighting skill and knowledge, while the other guy is a cartoonish trickster.
Galactus wins for my reasons already stated in that thread. What's Galactus worst showings getting defeated by many Thor levelers attacking at the same time...and its not as if they toatlly destroyed him. He just moved onto an easier meal an easier planet Mxy is all-powerful but not all-smart. The problem with his worst showings is Dimension Imps have been defeated by just Batman or just Superman, not a team of Superman and Thor level beings just one street leveler called Batman.That IMO is a pretty bad showing so give this to Galactus because guys like Impossible Man, Mxy and like Bat-Mite are not that smart, they are just tricksters. They are the cartoonish cat toying with small creature they never had to really fight some one on their own level playing field.
We know Galactus is a basic force and can survive the end of all, the end of the multiple universe. Can today's Mxy survive all that? I doubt it

But Galactus has been beaten before on multiple occasions actually... so its not an Impossible Task to defeat him... and who better to beat him again... than a Pissed off Reality Warping 5th Dimensional Imp ?

People have argued against Galactus with big G's low end showings. Guys like Mxy have such poor showings I think Galactus could cross over into his dimension and start snacking on a few worlds. The trouble is Big G would have to work for his meal for a change. If you take low end showings Dimension Imps have been defeated by just street levelers, he even killed by Professor, he has also been depowered and Prime captured and tortured Mxy.

Do you have scans or the issue #? Because most of the time Mxy is fooling around, it's not in his nature to obliterate all the heroes with a snap of his finger [which he is perfectly capable of]. And it was revealed that saying "Kltpzyxm" is just a rule he imposed on himself, he isn't forced to return to the 5th dimension when he says it.

i agree with this. Galctus is omnipotent, and very underrated as to what his powers actually are, in fact he can warp space, time, matter, energy, life, death, minds, and create pocket universes for starters. also though it never has been said, im inclined to think he's one of the beings in the MU that is immune to reality warping effects, as Surfer already has been shown to be.

Galactus is equal force to Death, Oblivion, Infinity and Eternity, alone representing equity while Death/Oblivion represent vengeance and Eternity/Infinity are necessity. His equal status with these beings is seen here when he discusses with Death on equal terms, stating that she is her “Sister, Daughter, Mother and my Wife”. Death also states that Galactus’s role in the universe is perhaps the most important, and likewise calls him “My Husband and Father, my Brother and my Son” and says “Are we not two corners of that great triangle that is universe?“. And Galactus’s insane age is stated here again, as he says “I am older then the oldest star that burns, older then the universe itself.“

This is easily one of the most impressive displays of Galactus’s power and status in the Marvel Universe. Without effort, he travels to Eternity’s realm, takes upon the form of star and greets Eternity. They speak with eachother, and in the end...shake hands, as equals. How many people shake hands with Eternity? Not many, I can tell you. That’s pretty freaking awesome scene.

If Mxy imagines that Galactus turned into a cow, then it would happen. I don't think Mxy would want to hurt Galactus though cauz Mxy's not a Bad person,he's mischievous. So I think he'll probably turn Galactus into a sumo wrestler or something, watever

Right, because Galactus absolutely has no power to defy that... 5D imps have their place in the hierarchy of power. They have been annihilated by the likes of the Spectre. They are not all powerful and unlimited. I'm not saying Galactus would win, but thinking it would be an easy battle is silly,

ur kidding me man. Joker, while weilding 99 percent of Mxyzptlk's power, turned Spectre into a deranged puppet.
5 d imps have owned spectre I dont know how many times. Only time spectre won was when a 5 d imp was restricted by his master. Joker (with 99 percent mxy's power) has even been able to twist logic itself, making the whole world believe that 2 + 2 = fish, and 5 - 4 = tuna sandwitch...............

When Lkz ( a 5d imp similar to Mxy in power) fought the Spectre, Spectre was actually at full power and fully unbound. What basically happened was Lkz just stood there and laughed and snapped his fingers while he watched a fully-powered Spectre fall again and again on his butt........... And that was fully unbound Spectre........... In the end Spectre was imprisoned by the laughing imp..............
When Spectre fought Emperor Joker ( joker with 99 percent of Mxy's power), Spectre was turned into a deranged puppet within seconds..........
Thunderbolt only lost because Thunderbolt was limited by its masters ability to verbally frame a wish. Or else Thunderbolt would have turned Spectre into ashes.

And when was that?????? The only time a 5 d imp lost to Spectre was because Thunderbolt was not allowed to make wishes. Every other time 5 d imps have annihilated and made Spectre their hctib. And I have good reasons to believe that Spectre > Galactus.
