@highaccuser: Hm...even so, Tangent Superman is a JLA team-buster. Also, I remember that TS was able to genetically modify his own body in the lead-up to his fight with Swamp-Thing so that he could easily win, so if he has any prep-time or knowledge of Majestic he would have no difficulty. That being said, I don't know too much about Majestic -- could you post a feat of his which is more impressive than busting the JLA?

hm...actually, this has already been done - http://www.comicvine.com/forums/battles-7/tangent-superman-vs-mister-majestic-33826/. There's a post about halfway down the existing forum by @killer_of_trolls which summarises pretty well TS powers and feats. Interestingly enough, in this existing topic, it is accepted that TS would win by the majority.
@pr0metheus: I am having trouble finding my comic to scan it - but as I remember, the fight was not actually displayed, it was a flashback scene in which Harvey told his gf that he was "changing his molecular composition so that he would be able to easily defeat the Swamp Thing in their upcoming battle" - or something along those lines.
