Round 1: I would lean towards Reed. He's got more resources than John. unless John is allowed to use his occult items?

Round 2: Definitely Constantine improvising is his specialty the things he's done with little to no time are pretty damn impressive!

I'm inclined to say Comstantine in both rounds though round one would be very close

What kind of outside help would John be able to gather in round one? Reed can call on a lot lot of very powerful people.

He made Gabriel (as in the arch angel leader of Hosts) his bitch and pawn in less than one week ( Gabriel fared well against Lucifer). he also has MANY debts owed to him by beings of power (he chalks them up when he can to have them to call in when he needs to). He got the presence to accede to his demands, has had the Phantom Stranger jumping through hoops. Timothy Hunter (one of the potential most powerful wizards in DCU) heeds his advice. Quite frankly the most powerful help Reed could source would be close to the least powerful that John would use.

His "help" is much more powerful. And not only that, but magic > science.

Round 1:Johns is a guy full of tricks,with five ours to prep he would summon demons,golens and zombies,while watching sitting.

Round 2:John Constantine would create a sleep spell or curse him
