@i_like_swords: This is Thor without any powers and without his Mjonir.
@stealth_warrior: thor would stomp. Thor was man handling shield agents as a regular human. Tony might get a lick or two in but he goes down in under a minute.
Oh wait I forgot. Tony has no armor. LOL. Thor should win but Tony can prolong things for a little while given his general fitness and martial arts training he received during Iron Man 2.
@i_like_swords: No he cant S.H.I.E.L.D. > Tony
@kgb725: Well it's easy enough to use inferred skill as a benchmark for how good Tony is, but when you actually watch, the SHIELD agents Thor fought weren't all that great, in comparison to someone like Hawkeye.
Regardless, all I said was Thor wouldn't just stomp Tony. Tony has shown a decent amount of finesse out of armor and has some level of modern combat training. Thor would win - but not without some difficulty here and there.
@i_like_swords: Not at all Tony hasn't shown any real skill with his training besides his first fight with whiplash
@kgb725: Whatever floats your boat.
@i_like_swords: Fine what are Tony's feats that suggest he could compete with Thor?
Thor drops the hammer on Tony.
Thor still wins because he was taking down those SHIELD agents that were guarding his hammer. Tony has no h2h feats and would lose horribly.
As everyone has already said, Thor wins, obviously. Stark has no hand-to-hand feats that i'm aware of, whereas Thor beat the crap out of a lot of Shield agents. Plus, he's more used to close combat than Stark, and has hundreds of years experience on him.
