Bane breaks his back too. Sherlock has been caught by regular guys before and seems to joke around (except against Moriarty) so I could see him taking it easy and testing out Bane, but Bane's not going to play with him.
This method only works if morals are on. If morals are off than Sherlock will have some tricks up his sleeves and won't hesitate to take down Bane. The only problem is Bane will be even more brutal, so I still think Bane could pull off a win either way.
@Xanni15: interesting if sherlock holmes was to use his prep wisely i think he could pull it off, he seems to be very strategic and smart in combat
made a slight edit morals off for holmes maybe with this and he uses his prep and knowledge of bane wisely he might pull it off
Sherlock takes this with no trouble. He doesn't need the prep. Bane was roughly equal to Bats after he's spent a few months getting back in shape, but was still below peak form. Sherlock would take peak form Bats, and would easily beat a weakened one. Give him a cane or two, and with his movereading, which is on a level that's basically precog, he'll easily find a way to destroy Bane's mask. Plus, he's shown use of nerve strikes, which will effect Bane regardless of his pain immunity. Sherlock wins without prep, with prep he brings the taser and couple of canes and stomps all over Bane.
Also, morals don't matter here. He has no problem hurting the thug in the first movie severely enough that he estimated it would take months to recover. Destroying Bane's mask won't even permanently damage him. If Holmes is willing to run around tasering people with enough force to send them flying, he'll have no qualms about stomping on Bane.

good explanation his ability to pre-read and opponents attacks and nerve strike would give him the majority for the win.
