Both Blood-Lusted
No-Prep
Fight takes place on an indestructible planet where they can go all out
They start 1 mile apart
Fight to the Death
(Movie)Ronan with space gem
Vs
(Movie)Malekith with the power gem
Who wins?
Malekith got killed by a ship crashing on him
Ronan survived his ship crashing.
Therefore Ronan wins!
MY LOGIC IS INFALLIBLE.
@fallschirmjager: He also survived a ship crashing into him, so Roana survived twice the....shipness?

One simply does not refute the space ships.
If Malekith can disarm Ronan he wins, if not, Ronan.
No. If Malekith can dance he wins.
If Malekith can disarm Ronan he wins, if not, Ronan.
No. If Malekith can dance he wins.
Lol. I actually didn't like that, everybody in the cinema thought it was hilarious, I thought it was just a bit too much.

I agree, but Groot dancing made up for it.
Also.
CH-CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB! (>>>>>>> hooked on a feeling)
@kingant27: @fallschirmjager: Thanos beats them both.
@frozen: It might have been cause he was sitting on a chair up in space, but does he look really small to you?
I thought he'd be bigger than the Hulk for sure.
@fallschirmjager: He looked big to me, probably due to sitting dowm. I was intrigued that they showed Celestial and said Thanos was the most powerful being in The Universe.

They can't use Galactus so it makes since they would make him their big bad. Especially with the infinity gauntlet (though its pretty clear its not going to be anywhere near comic levels)

But there was Odin, who should be alot more powerful. Though the Infinity Gauntlet will be interesting, even without the stones, it was said Thanos had killed races of planets IIRC.

Odin won't play a big enough part to matter much though. Besides it not like they have to stick to the rules.

Bigger than the the hulk!? Isnt that a little too much. I thought that he was going to have the same size of the hulk.

FLAWLESS

Funniest part lol
@kingant27: Been done, by me!

Beta Ray Bill must not yet exist then :}
@fallschirmjager Thanos isn't bigger than the Hulk in comics either. He 6' 7", Hulk is around 7'-8'
@sebast_allen: You didn't include the gems, so it hasn't been done.
@kingant27 : Read my OP, the stipulation states that they are evebpn fighting for each others gems.
But it doesn't matter, this way i can voice my opinion, Malekith wins.
@sebast_allen: Mine was made before yours, so what are you trying to say..
If Malekith can disarm Ronan he wins, if not, RonaHn.
No. If Malekith can dance he wins.
HAHAHA

I didn't say he was, but as the biggest bad, I'd expect he would be huge.
@Kingant27 : Oh, did not see that, please ask a mod to lock mine, but please change your OP to my rounds, like this battle, plus fleet battle plus all out battle.
@sebast_allen: keep yours, it has different rounds.
Ronan looked more impressive because he made mice-meat of Drax and beat everybody he fought without too much trouble.
Here's the catch:
Malekith fought Thor, who was much more powerful than any of the Guardians. I guarantee that if Thor was in Drax's place, Ronan would've felt his strikes.
That being said, Malekith's best feat was stopping a downward swing from mjolnir and deflecting Thor back. Ronan's hammer was broken by Rocket's missile. I'm sure the Aether could do the same.
Here's a second catch:
Malekith has inconsistent durability. He was able to take full-out blows from mjolnir without any injury, but was pierced by those poles Thor threw at him in the end. However, Ronan uses a hammer, which (I know this will cause hate) didn't do anything that mjolnir couldn't.
One more thing: to compare the ships crashing on them isn't fair. Malekith's ship was far bigger than the ship that hit Ronan. Also, the Aether wasn't in Malekith anymore when the ship fell on him.
All that being said: I would say that it's incredibly hard to tell, but I would slightly lean towards Malekith.
@kingant27: How exactly do we even know that was the space gem?
Or that the Ether was the power gem?
Star Lord saw his mother in the process of attaining the Stone so it's either Soul or Reality imo.
@logy5000: because of this i am going with malekith
Malekith had the reality gem (aether).
Ronan had the power gem (the power gem orb).
Close fight until Malekith finds a way to destroy Ronan's hammer. To address a point someone brought up, Malekith's durability isn't that inconsistent - he caught the first pole Thor threw at him, but then lost his hand when the pole activated. Can't exactly remember what happened with the second pole - I think he did something similar to Malekith's other arm - stabbed it a little but by no means a severe wound, if I am remembering correctly.
So, Malekith should be able to hold off Ronan until he destroys the Universal Weapon. Then Malekith should be able to somehow control the Power Stone (if the Guardians can, he should be able to), thus winning the fight.
FWIW IMO Malekith is the most underrated villain of the MCU. Great actor, great costume, and he is not as evil as other bad MCU dudes - he just wants his universe back!
