NOTE, this is MOVIE Ben Grimm and MOVIE Hulk.

Need I remind you that MOVIE Ben Grimm managed to hold up the London Eye:

http://www.londoneye.com/AboutUs/InterestingFacts/Default.aspx

Which weighs 2, 100 tonnes.

While movie Hulk's greatest feat was, what exactly? What has movie hulk done that was AS extreme as that?

I'm fairly certain the London Eye is a fair bit more massive than that Leviathan and holding it up there like he did would require a fair bit more strength.

Thing didn't do that Alone. Sue was holding it up with Force fields as well.

Also, You're comparing a Striking Feat to a Lifting Feat.

What Striking Feats does Ben have to compare to Hulk?

#11 Edited by Chibi_cute (4836 posts) - - Show Bio

Hulk wins this more faster greater striking power more feats of durability.

@shawnbaby: Still Hulk needed Ironman's help to blow up the Leviathon from landing on the Avengers, I could argue that the Hulk didn't one-shot the 400 ton beast.

But Hulk still wins based on Durability, and speed.

No, you couldn't. The beast was dead when Hulk hit it. As you said, All Iron Man did was keep it from landing on the Avengers.

Hulk but I don't think its a stomp.

#17 Edited by WillPayton (11155 posts) - - Show Bio

Hulks wins very easily.

#18 Posted by MirrorWave4 (1235 posts) - - Show Bio

@shawnbaby: Ok, you can't prove the Leviathon was dead from the punch or k.o'd. When Hulk punched it, the beast still had moment going and Ironman had to blow it up with missiles so the Avengers don't get squashed. Plus we know its dead when The Leviathon's head came off after Ironman's quick saving. That proves Hulk was not capable of filling stopping the beast and needed help.

The Head was stopped cold and the rest of it continued...causing it to flip over towards the Avengers. That's just Physics.

@shawnbaby: "The Head was stopped cold"

- No it was "almost" pinned to the ground as the Leviathon was still moving, even the head was still moving a bit.

#21 Posted by Floopay (9022 posts) - - Show Bio

Ben didn't really do anything impressive in either of the movies. At least not Hulk impressive.

Yes, It's still moving. That's called inertia. When you have an immense amount of mass travelling at a fair speed and suddenly part of that object stops moving...the rest of it doesn't automatically stop with it.When a car hits a tree does everything in the car stop with it? No, That's why we have seatbelts. You hit a redwood with your car going 100 mph without a seatbelt on...the car will stop...but you won't.

Yeah, with the help of Sue and Reed.

IIRC Ben had a hard time lifting a firetruck in one of the movies.

That firetruck thing is a low showing and only weighs like, 15 tons at max.

@perezite: Hulk got straight back up after a powerful smack from Mjolnir, Ben wouldn't survive a hit like that.

The Thing is very slow and (as far as i'm aware) cannot jump or at least not higher than the average human. Hulk can super-jump like it's nothing.

I'm afraid this is how poor Ben would turn out, except replace Loki with Ben's rubble:

He lifted London's eye with Sue's help. That's more impressive than everything Hulk has done combined.

If you look at 1:00 in the vid I posted a little ways above your post, it's even MORE impressive since it's OBVIOUS he was doing most of the heavy lifting by that point.

#30 Edited by Pope052 (3434 posts) - - Show Bio

@perezite: Hulk got straight back up after a direct hit from Mjolnir, need I say more?

It means little if someone has better feats than the other if they're severely outmatched than the opponent, Superman has better feats than Galactus but Superman isn't beating Galactus any time soon.....

Also you act as if Hulk wouldn't be able to lift the London Eye, why wouldn't he be able to?

What's your point? He struggled with both the firetruck and the London eye.

Hulk takes this.

#32 Edited by Pope052 (3434 posts) - - Show Bio

@jwalser3: Exactly, anyway @perezite seems to be ignoring the fact that Hulk got up after a direct hit from Mjolnir, and that Ben is completely outmatched. He's being extremely biased from truth.

#33 Posted by jwalser3 (5701 posts) - - Show Bio

@pope052: Don't get me wrong, I love Ben as a character but in this fight he gets beat.

Though impressive, the Leviathan that Hulk stopped was in motion, which means it required a lot more force to stop.

But that's not all the Hulk has going for him. Effortlessly ripping through steel, leaping miles in a single bound, standing up to Thor, and so much more. He also has a lot more combat feats, and a healing factor.

Floopay

Overall this is how it is:

Strength: Thing

Speed: Hulk

Durability: Hulk

Striking Force: Hulk

Hulk wins 3/4 categories.

this is the problem guys, if ben was really amped up to his true potential in movies, he'll definitely give hulk a match to remember , old benjy needs a comeback in the reboot of ff4 badly.

Cut the crap, mods look down on uncensored obscenity. So watch it. If you don't know the rules, look them up. If you don't want to follow them, tell a mod how you feel about it.
