Movie Battle: Blade vs Wolverine

Blade has feats from his three movies, Wolverine from the X-Men and Wolverine movies.

Combatants have prior knowledge of each other, for whatever it may help.

Battle takes place in Times Square, at night. It is unpopulated though there are cars about the street. Battle can extend past Times Square, into subways, side streets, etc.

Combatants start 100 ft apart.

No prep.

Blade only has his sword, Wolverine only has his claws. Assume Blade's sword is adamantium to eliminate the whole "Wolverine cuts his sword in half" comment. Wolverine retains healing factor in both rounds.

Round 1:

Wolverine has adamantium skeleton.

Round 2:

Wolverine has no adamantium skeleton, but DOES have his adamantium claws.

Victory by KO, incapacitation, or death.

Going with Blade here for a strong majority pretty easily. I love Hugh Jackman's performance as Wolverine, but his movie version is literally LARGELY inferior to his comic book counterpart in almost every way imaginable. Next to no fighting skill, inferior healing factor, less durability, no superhuman physicals, etc.. Movie Blade was actually pretty formidable force. Given how movie Wolverine has such crappy durability that logs, car crashes, and bullets knock him out, I bet movie Blade could just knock him unconscious.

Blade wins both of these in my opinion. Faster, smarter, more skilled, stronger, blacker.

Weird setup on Wolverine for these rounds too.

@wolverine08: O. I thought Wolverines healing factor from the movies were better? Lol. Healing from a bomb in 3 seconds lol. So comic Wolverines healing factor is better than that? For now on I'm saying he wins every battle lol.

@fallschirmjager: It could, I think it would depend on how recently he had drank blood. If a while ago then Wolverine could eventually tag him and it's game over but Blade's massively amped when he falls into the pool of blood in B2, and he heals from about 10 metallic stakes in no time.

@ultrastarkiller: Comic Wolverine's healing factor puts movie Wolverine's to shame. Movie Logan's HF is alright, but nowhere near comic Wolverine's really.

@rogueshadow: I don't think we have any feats to know how movie-Wolverine handles bloodloss.

But considering he has survived Phoenix ripping him apart over and over I'd favor him in a death match.

@fallschirmjager: I feel like a sword in movie Wolverine's eye repeatedly and repeated hacking and slashing could probably kill him. His hf was kind of crappy next to comics, he got downed by a single bullet and was knocked out for an entire night by a firing squad, he could have just been sleeping, but I always got the impression he had been KO'd by it. I actually wouldn't be surprised if a few of punches from Blade downed him.

@fallschirmjager: I can't really remember that many feats to suggest either way I suppose, I just think that if he got diced enough through the eye, liver, heart etc [Like... massacred into pulp once Blade had KOd him] I'm not sure he could come back. I think his best feat is probably his phoenix regen, though she was quite possibly holding back.

I honestly want to agree with this just because of you.

However, I still give round 1 to Logan.

Round 2 is a stomp for Blade without question though.

If blade can dodge taxes, I'm sure he can dodge whatever wolverine throws at him

Blade was so fast, strong and skilled. The only way Logan can win is if he just tanks all of Blade's attacks like Homer when he became a boxer.
