..vs...

Both teams using standard gear and suits. However, neither side starts with any projectile weapons. They are allowed to use projectiles, but only stuff they can get from their surroundings. ("projectile weapons" here is defined as: something that can be thrown or fired and impacts directly on an opponent causing damage. Smoke bombs, etc, are allowed)

Battle takes place in an abandoned warehouse with crates and random stuff lying around. They start 5m apart.

Batman. He fought ninjas, SWAT, and armed thugs.

Rorschach just fought some thugs and got the crap beaten out of him by some cops. Comedian... got killed by Ozy.

If this is movie batman then Comedian solos. The comedian during the initial minutemen was an incredible fighter and was 100% fearless. Hell, he hung with Ozymandias when he was an old man and Ozymandias makes movie batman look like a joke. If he has Rorschach as well, its a stomp. They are great fighters. Movie batman was getting beat on by the joker with a metal pipe and only persevered because of his wrist bracers.

Joker had prep and attack dogs. It was also after Batman had just previously exhausted himself fighting SWAT and Joker's thugs while protecting the hostages.

He only beat villains from The WATCHMEN, and i will agree that most are not impressive. But Ozy is far more physically impressive than anybody from the Batman movies by a mile. Batman was beat on by the joker and a couple of dogs. Ozymandias can catch a bullet that is fired six inches from his chest. He is also the smartest man in the world and the Comedian still held his own and at that point he was over 60 years old and fighting in a bathrobe. what evidence do u have that movie batman could last five seconds against Ozy when he barely beat the Joker? Joker was not only human but he was not far from average (Physically). Joker is a child compared to Ozy. At least IMO

Yes and nobody that Batman fought in your example was anywhere in Comedians ballpark. A SWAT team that doesn't even try to fire a shot even though most of them were not disarmed until thirty seconds into the fight? Not impressive. And Jokers thugs are literally random guys off the street. (who performed at the same level as the swat guys) Comedian fought someone who was stronger and smarter than any human. plus u put in rorschach who takes down groups of guys by himself and all of them are armed? Now ur telling me movie batman can fight them both? I politely disagree.

He stood up there waiting for Batman. He utilized a net to disorient Batman - and I believe his sonic sensors weren't working anymore at that point.

Yeah, thugs. Again, Batman fought ninjas, thugs, and SWAT. A lot more SWAT than Rorschach did, and in a larger space.

What one-shotting multiple thugs? He only took out one thug. He tired the other guy to the bars, causing the other thug to kill him. Then he hunted down the ring leader, who couldn't do anything by himself. Aside from that, he tossed hot oil in a guy's face.

Who said Ozy was giving it his all? He wanted it to look like a break in. And he wasn't holding his own; Comedian never got a shot in. Ozy dodged or blocked every hit, and most of his hits landed.

I've seen the movie and read the comic - multiple times.

There's nothing to suggest either Rorschach or Comedian could counter Bruce if he snuck up of them.

@JediXMan: I was referring to the other two members of the Watchmen, to give you an idea of the level that they are on.

The Joker disabled his sonic sensors and made them go haywire by striking him on the head; something that had nothing to do with prep. That fight would have gone exactly the same way if it had been a random encounter (now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Joker wasn't expecting him).

If Ozy wasn't giving his all there then that only supports Rorschach even more, as he was taking hits from Ozy and getting back up. Bear in mind that Ozy was breaking stone when he attacked the Comedian in that scene.

Batman loses. He was never above human in the movies, whereas the Watchmen one-shot thugs and break arms like it's nothing.

You also assume this will be a straight fight. The OP states it is in a warehouse, and Batman has smoke bombs. He is fully capable of removing himself from the fight and striking from the shadows.

Correct, Batman has his normal equipment (i.e. utility belt) except any projectile weapons (no batarangs). So that means smoke bombs, probably flashbangs, etc... whatever he'd normally have in a random encounter, plus his costume which increases his durability. As far as the team, since no guns, Rorschach basically starts unarmed and Comedian has his suit (which probably offers some protection). I dont know if Comedian normally used any weapons other than guns (his closet in the movie had all sorts of pistols, rifles, and a machine gun, but I never saw a knife).

Allowing them to start with projectile weapons (i.e. guns) would make this fight too one-sided. Movie Batman isnt like comic book Batman that can dodge bullets. If the Comedian and Rorschach need guns in addition to outnumbering Batman 2 to 1, then that's just sad.

And here we come again... Joker successfully attacked Batman because Batman's sonar was messed up. It was like attacking blind man. As for Comedian fighting Ozymandias on equal terms, if you think that getting beat up and being thrown from a window is identical with fighting someone on equal terms, then yes Comedian was indeed equal to Ozymandias. ;) Batman wins. Better tech, better trening, better armour

Wait, so what is in the warehouse? Being that Rorschach is based on Question, therefore he is able to make a weapon out of anything in his surroundings. In the movie, he just took a match and a can of hairspray(?) and had a makeshift flamethrower, used a fryer and threw the hot oil on one of the prison inmates, and using a shirt to tie up a prisoner's arms between his cell bars. So Rorschach is resourceful a lot, being that there are random items, that could range from any number of weapons that Rorschach could make.

Well there are a number of things you could make out of wood/metal, can't think of anything off hand but you could.

Even if we assume Rorschach and the Comedian can beat Batman (Comedian with firearms probably could actually), the problem still is that Batman has armor that should protect him from anything Rorschach and the Comedian can throw at him. I'm going Batman on this one. He has armor, he has been shown to be more adept with projectile weaponry (not firearms, but you know what I mean) and that's pretty much a win.

Bats got wounded by a shotgun blast to the chest so the armor point is pointless also he got wounded by a bunch of dogs so I give Team the win. In the following clip you see the clip where he got wounded by the dogs. Team wins

They do not have firearms, and his armor was weak against piercing weapons, which they don't seem to have either. I just don't think they could pull it off with his armor on. That, and at the end of the movie he had a totally different set of armor that faired better against piercing attacks, and took a few shots with a crowbar (might've been a different weapon) and that had no effect on him.

team wins, movie Bats was not too impressive, when he took down the SWAT guys they had limited visibility whereas Bats had full visibility. He won't have that advantage now.

All characters were able to put serious beatings on street thugs and cops but the team has number advantage and, being in their prime, are physically powerful and skilled fighting-wise to defeat bats

How does this apply to the movie versions? This was not mentioned in the movie to my recollection.

Either one of them solos, the comedian put up a good fight against Ozzymandias and he was 60 years old, he even beat ozzy in his prime when he was a bit younger. It was not mentioned in the film, but its hinted too alot and its the main reason Ozzy personally killed the Comedian.

Batman would beat both of them one-on-one but Rorschach and Comedian would win together.

(Batman has fought Bane, who is just as strong as Ozy)

(Also, Ozy isn't superhuman)

(Batman fights lots more thugs and swat on his own than either Comedian or Rorschach)

But ultimately, Rorschach and Comedian would beat Bats together.

If we're comparing to normal, real-world humans, then Ozy really IS superhuman. His speed and strength are beyond what any human can even come close to doing.
