this is composite batman (burton and nolan) with all gadgets.
chris evans cap at the time of winter soldier's ending.
scenario 2: just H2H but batman keeps his armor.
Composite feats for Batman keep this from being a complete walkover for Cap, but Rogers still wins
@rbt: Baleman right? More durable how? He does have better equipment but I doubt he'll get the time to use it, what striking feats does he have to put him on par with Cap?
Batman survived a horrific crash in the Bat-Wing in Batman89 and he also punched thru the floor of the Batmobile in "Batman Returns". The better equipment thing, the only thing that comes to mind is the remote self-flying batarang he used against the Red Triangle Gang in "Returns", but other than that I'm not too sure about any other offensive equipment that could help here...either way I still don't see how any of that is going to help him beat Cap in a fight.
@shazam117: Thanks for that, but I asked for feats of Baleman hitting as hard as Cap.
Oh!
The only thing that comes to mind is the knee brace thingy from TDKR....'member when he put it on in the Batcave and kick like a stone or cynder block and broke it. Other than that I'm not too sure.
@shazam117: That's good but not really on Cap's level.
Ha! That's all I got for Bats between Burton & Nolan. But I agree tho, not on the level of Caps striking with his shield. Through out all the Batman films he's never faced anyone the caliber of Steve is what it pretty much comes down to.
@leonkarlen123: Lol. Always the fanboy.
@leo-343: Baleman fell from fourth floor of a building and crashed on top of a car while supporting weight of a fully grown woman. And he wasn't hurt at all. Cap did something similar when he jumped from the elevator. Only, his fall was broken and he fell on his vibranium shield and yet looked to be in more pain than Bruce did.
Bruce is bulletproof. Steve isn't.
Bruce took over 50 hits from Bane and shrugged it all off. And Bane's striking power is comparable to Steve's(a little less, but comparable).
Bruce was able to shatter a concrete block with his injured leg. Cap's feats are better, no doubt, but its comparable.
Bruce will get the time to use his equipments if he wants. He can tank multiple blows of Cap and usually tries to create gap between himself and his opponent to fight freely.
I'm not saying that Baleman can defeat Cap. Not at all. But its not going to be a stomp like everybody is saying. Steve will win, but he'll have to work for it.
@leo-343: Yeah Dent shot him and he pretended to go down so he could take him down by surprise. Which he did. That was clear in the movie. And his suit is mentioned to be bulletproof more than once. Except for some joints.
Steve was shot and kept going. That shown his pain tolerance. It was clear that the bullets penetrated him.
Bane was wearing Bruce down in first battle but not in second. Bruce took over 50 hits by Bane, went on to defeat him and was perfectly fine.
Send flying? That's not a good way of comparing strength. Different directors go for different effects. Just because Bane didn't send any man flying does not mean his hits are not comparable especially when he has other quantifiable feats that suggest so. In comics much stronger being fight all the time without sending their opponents fly.
@leo-343: Modern submarines which go way deeper don't have bullet proof glass. A submarine made in 40s which was meant for shallow water would not have bulletproof glass either. Yes, shattering the glass is a very impressive feat especially because it was done underwater where fluid resistance is high and its harder to move your hand. But the glass was not bulletproof. A bulletproof glass or even reinforced glasd does not shatter like the sub glass did. It seemed like a normal thick glass. Anyways, SSS users have better feat than this. Like Red Skull putting a fist sized dent in Cap's original shield.
Have yu ever seen anyone hit a pillar? Its impossible to create a crack in a pillar made of stone and concrete by human standards. Bane effortlessly (it was a mishit), shattered it. The fact that it was a mishit makes it even more impresive. He shattered the pillar while his punch was being pulled away(his target was Bruce's fave which was a good deal away from pillar). Compare it with Bucky's mishit during the bridge fight scene. Bucky hits harder than Cap from his bionic arm and he cracked the layer of pavement. These two feats are very much similar. Bucky's was more impressive, but Bane's wasn't much far behind.
And Bruce overpowered Bane during their second encounter.
Logically? Bruce is not far behind the enemies Cap has faced. Like I said and backed up with feats, Bruce is more durable. Has comparable striking power(though less). Fights smarter than any opponent Cap has faced(watch Bruce's fight with SWAT team. Bruce uses his surroundings expertly.) And has equipment that can actually take down Steve. And bringing up Cap vs Loki is a bad idea. Loki didn't even want to fight Cap(trying to getting captured and all) and yet stomped Cap. Not saying that Bruce would fare any better but still
@uft:
Round 1 Batman
Round 2 Captain America
Ooohhh, this includes Clooney's batman? That's a tough one...
Nah, considered it. Steve still eats his soul.
@leo-343: Watch the fight again. Jist after Bane sent Bruce staggering on the stairs, they locked for a few seconds in a battle of pure strength and Bruce won.
EDIT
Not denying that Bruce is inferior to opponets Cap usually fights. Mostly in strength. But he does have sueprior durbility. And he fights smartly.
Any superhero movie is filled with inconsistency. Some more, some less. But that doesn't mean we can ignore the best feats.
@shazam117: That Black thug was dope though. As young black kids watching Batman, my siblings & I started cheering for the thug. :p
