The average Joe hasn't been in a real fist fight so I doubt it. Batons hurt. Hell, they can seriously injury people and that average Joe wouldn't be able to handle that.

@thecomedian_: No, it was luck, cowardice, and help from his cronies. He literally spent half the fight running from David because he knew he would get his ass whooped. The only times Chris did stop and fight him was when his henchmen held David down.

I said in h2h. The average joe is bigger and stronger than David, the only advantage he would have is the metal plates in his head cushioning blows but he's still vulnerable to getting his ribs cracked, arms broken, kneecaps shattered, choked out etc. All things practically any pissed off grown man could do to a scrawny kid like David.

@juiceboks: you don't counter attacks from a trained fighter more than once with luck or cowardic. That isn't how fighting works. It takes skill to counter, plain and simple. He may not be the most skilled, but saying "he has no fighting skills whatsoever" doesn't make sense. He was even trained by Chuck Liddell. He even commented "the guy knows his stuff."

As for the plates, that's one hell of an advantage. I think he said he didn't feel 85% of pain? Do you not remember him getting tortured? He took it like a champ and was fine and ready to fight. He was beaten senseless by men much bigger than the average Joe. With batons and brass knuckles. The average Joe doesn't even know how to punch properly. The average Joe's only chance would pretty much be to choke him out.

@thecomedian_: Chris needed constant help from his goons in is fight with Dave. When Chris was by himself on the roof Dave stomped him. Hell, Dave speedblitzed him.

@allstarsuperman: but what he said was that the Motherfucker had no fighting skills. I was just telling him it was false and despite having help from others, the fight displayed fighting skills. I'm not saying they were the best by any means, I'm just saying that he did have some degree skill. I don't think this fight would be a sissy fight.

@thecomedian_: He didn't showcase any notable fighting skills in his fight against David. He has some training from Black Death but nothing notable. That comment by Chuck Liddell was made in reference to Black Death not Chris, that wouldn't make sense.

You can't quantify pain like that, so that pseudo statistic is near meaningless. That's a decent advantage, but not necessarily something that puts him above grown men. Having plates in his skull doesn't prevent his bones from being broken or getting k.oed by a clean blow to his jaw. He can take a lot of punishment, but he can't dish out much with just his fists. An average grown man could beat him up.

You act like bones are easy to break for the average man. Are you trolling or something? He got hit in the jaw by one of the biggest guys in the movie while wearing a knuckle-duster.

I really think you need to watch both movies again.
