MoS Kryptonians vs. Avengers (amped)

Scenario: Zod manages to brainwash Clark and they go on a conquering spree throughout the universe. When going against one particularly dangerous foe, the phantom zone generator is damaged and via a time and space distortion, is warped through the dimensions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now attempting to conquer that Earth, the Avengers are called in to save the day. However, Tony Stark quickly realizes that these new foes have every physical advantage, and they need something to help them.

He discovers that in the dimensional warp are generated a new type of green stone which he dubs "Kryptonite", and that these newcomers are remarkably weak to, due to the radiation that it gives off. He begins to upgrade all of the Avenger's gear to be able to utilize this new power.

Because Kryptonite does not appear in the MoS movie, it is assumed that Kryptonite has the same effect as it does in Superman Returns.

Team 1:

Captain America: His suit is laced with Kryptonite fibers and his shield is coated in a layer of Kryptonite.

Iron Man: Uses a Kryptonite core added to his Arc reactor in order to focus his repulsor beams through them. Gauntlet's, breastplate, and helmet are coated with a layer of Kryptonite.

Thor: Each side of Mjolnir is capped with a spike of Kryptonite. If he uses his lighting with Mjolnir, the lighting takes on the properties of Kryptonite.

Hulk: Wears Gauntlets made out of Kryptonite.

Black Widow: Her suit is laced with Kryptonite fibers and her guns utilize Kryptonite bullets.

Hawkeye: Creates two new types of Arrows, one with a Kryptonite spike and one with an explosive piece of Kryptonite on the end. Also adds Kryptonite fibres to his suit.

Team 2:

Clark Kent: Morals off

General Zod: Final Movie power-level

Faora: Same as in the movie (no flight or heat vision)

Nam-Ek: Same as in movie.

ROUND 1: Team 2 KNOWS that team 1 utilizes Kryptonite weaponry and will attempt to protect themselves from it. Battle takes place in an evacuated New York, but may move outside of this area if the Avengers are unable to contain the Kryptonians.

Round 2: Loki appears with Gungnir and with all the "green" in his armor replaced with Kryptonite, to aid the Avengers (because the Kryptonians could be a threat to him). Meanwhile, Jor-El also appears, despite his disapproval of the Kryptonian's actions, because he wants to protect his son (besides being amped to Faora/Nam-Ek level, he also has a Kryptonian gun with him).

I would like to point out that since you said Kryptonite can hurt them in this thread specifically, then it sticks. But If going by MoS only, we have no idea if kryptonite actually effects them in any way.

K-weapons probably wouldn't even work on the Kryptonians if they were wearing armor.

Like Superman Returns? So they can throw an entire continent of Kryptonite?

In all seriousness, if its the sort of weakness they can "overcome", like in Returns, than Supes Solos.

@deaditegonzo: But at the same time, SR Supes was a lot stronger than MoS Supes. MoS never lifted a small continent. And while Kryptonite IS something that they can overcome, Luthor's Kryptonite dagger still almost killed him. A punch from Hulk with K-gauntlets should go some pretty hard damage, and while they CAN still hit back at almost full strength, they will still be nauseated and woozy enough just getting near Hulk that it could give him the edge he needs to tag them.

@theirishdoctor: This is a weakened MoS Kal underneath a beam of PURE gravity, a gravity beam that destroys miles of city with each blast. Hulk isnt going to punch anywhere near that hard. Supes flies at him at Mach 29 and sends him flying into orbit. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The key word is "gravity". It's effects would be directly equivalent to the mass of whatever it is effecting. Thus, since Clark is a lot lighter than a building, it won't hit him anywhere near as hard as it does those buildings. At least, that is what would be logical about the effects of a gravity based weapon.

Regardless, Clark would still be thrown off by the effects of the Kryptonite that Hulk is wearing, which might make him miss Hulk, lose momentum before he reaches Hulk, and while you are absolutely right in saying that Hulk would not be able to harm MoS Superman under normal circumstances, he also is punching with gloves made out of a material that allowed a normal human to pierce Clark's skin. So, I don't think that this is as clear cut as you imply.

Kryptonians can continue fighting, however off kilter they might be, under the effects of Kryptonite, and their speed would allow them to play keep-away and do a lot of "run in, hit, and run out" tactics, they are still at a major disadvantage.

This thread hates Kryptonians.

Actually, I love Kryptonians and Superman is one of my all time favorite heroes...I just didn't like Man of Steel :P
