From what I have gathered around the Vine, hes pretty much a stalemate with Punisher

OH! This match up is really great. I would say that fight would go either way and would depend mostly on the current mental health of the fighters because both are very mentally ill. This fight really comes down to Spector's balance vs Harper's focus.

@boringperson: Roy doesn't just get high. When he gives into his alcoholism/heroine addiction he gets very depressed and self destructive. In the new 52 from what we saw in his sessions with Hugo Strange he also has some huge gabs of confidence. Not to mention how he has been suicidal more then once.

Moon knight. Moon knight may be mentally ill, but that does not make him any lesser foe. He has gone toe-to-toe with many powerful individuals and come out on top, and wears a tick but flexible kevlar body sut/armor.

I've seen feats of him which were very impressive but not enough to say he'd win. But you do make a point on the type of arrowss being shot becuase if he's just normally shot with regular puncture arrows then it wont be the same.

idk guys this could be what ends moonknight. if he tries to tank these arrows instead of dodge them he looses. i think i can say Moonknight takes this 6-7/10

@kidman560: IIRC Moon Knight's condition was incredibly dilapidated and his legs were severely eroded. That and Taskmaster ambushed him in his apartment. Hardly a fair fight for Marc. In terms of arrows, Moon Knight can easily tank them, at least in underwhelming amounts. In fact, in MOON KNIGHT vol.3 #6, Taskmaster fires off a couple crossbow bolts point-blank at Spector and the latter doesn't even flinch. This is, of course, without any carbonadium armor.

The armor that current Moon Knight has has also been shown to be able to withstand low-caliber bullet-fire, giving way only to point-blank sniper rounds. This is not to mention that current Marc can cut bullets in half inches away from his face with relative ease. I don't see Roy winning this fight.

Speaking of this scene, I also think it's pertinent enough to mention that Roy himself once mentioned that Green Arrow put two arrows across Batman's shoulders, and the pain was so bad that Bruce almost passed out. Not saying that a single line of dialogue is the definitive word-of-god, but it's food for thought.

That should actually be even better for flashbang arrows and polyurethane arrows...

Regular (current?) Moonknight loses. Pre-flashpoint Roy when he's not being written horribly (*coughcryforjusticecough*) is a beast and just as effective if not more all around than Olliver Queen. Roy would win that battle at least 7/10.

If this is a Moon Knight though that gets superhuman abilities from Khonshu during certain phases of the moon, a full moon Moon Knight wins 8/10.

@onemoreposter: Considering Moon Knight can easily cut bullets in half, and are able to block them after they fire, I'm not sure how he loses. Moon Knight's 2nd best gear is easily able to block bullets and bombs with ease. Moon Knight's pain tolerance is also off the charts.

.....what? Moon Knight beating Roy "easily" is laughable. Moon Knight beating Roy at all is debatable. While Moon Knight is set pretty well against archers, Roy's trick arrows and equal fighting skills should give him a fighting chance here

As for the outcome, I'm not an expert on either character, but i'll give it to Moon Knight 6-7/10 times.

Roy has Hawkeye like accuracy he once threw a penny to stop someone from running I know I can find the scan later but Roy takes this.

Agreed, Moonknight has stale-mated Gambit multiple times I could not see Punisher replicating this at all.. he would get his ass handed to him imo

@educated: thank you for agreeing. Moon knight isnt even in my top 10 heroes but i know he's better than that. One guy on here said falcon could stomp mk in pure h2h and even claimed that mk doesn't any martail arts when i know for a fact he is a master of krav maga , judo and versatile in all of the rest. He's no slouch.

@zemoftw: Most people just tjink MK is some Batman-copy and instantly dislike him. Add the fact that there is a rather small base of people who are contiously reading comics with him and you have the reason why he is undersold so often

@rac95: it's a very sad reason they hate him. I've never understood how so many people can hate him. And it's not a good excuse to hate him as about 95% of street level heroes use gadgets and martial arts to fight crime so by thier logic every street level hero is a batman knockoff.
