The current Hourman is Rick Tyler. He is the son of the original (WWII-era) Hourman Rex Tyler, the inventor of Miraclo, a substance that boosts every possible human attribute into serious superhuman territory for 60 minutes.
Hourman is able to run at speeds of over 50 mph barefoot, can/has lifted Panzer Tanks overhead with minimal difficulty and then thrown them for dozens of yards. His skin is capable of resisting sustained machine gun fire up to and including .50 cal bullets. He is able to breathe underwater and possesses infra-red vision on a slightly lower level than Doctor Mid-Nite, and he also possesses superhuman stamina, endurance, and agility.
