Actually now that I think about it.. Luffy can do to Reed what Rayleigh did to Luffy. Haki FTW!
Monkey D. Luffy vs Mr Fantastic
Luffy, Reed is smart but that's not enough for Luffy. Without prep Luffy stomps.
Reed is pretty powerful, he’s owned Namor in the past but he can’t do anything to Luffy, he’s outclassed in every area.
@crimz: Reed does what to Luffy?
Reed kills Luffy and then builds a device to contain his verse in a snow globe.
GG
@socajunkie: Suffocate him
Reed's elasticity is way better than Luffy's to the point where even Wolverine can't stab him. While Luffy is susceptible to sharp things if he doesn't use Haki.
Reed can do everything Luffy can except gear 2, 4, and haki. While Luffy can't really hurt him.

@enemybird: That is the only move he has that has a chance of hurting Reed. And even then a flame based attack is what Reed would be more than ready for, just look at who his brother-in-law is.
@crimz: He suffocates somebody who has a colossal speed advantage over him + can see a few seconds into the future? Do explain how Reed achieves this.
Reed. Sure, Luffy is stronger and more durable, but despite all that, Luffy can't actually hurt Reed. Of course, Reed can't hurt Luffy either, but Reed will figure out many ways to contain Luffy, long before Luffy figures a way to contain Reed. And then Reed will just make something that can kill Luffy at his own leisure.
Elaborate.
Elaborate.
I asked you to elaborate claim , not to scan bomb. Nonetheless , there's no way Reed is tagging or restraining MHS character with precognition. As for durability , what I see here is Reed tanking casual punches from inconsistent Namor and classic Thing which are nothing compared to Luffy's island level attacks. Taking several punches from World War Hulk is unquantifiable feat considering even Wolverine and Colossus could endure it and Hulk was just hitting with enough force to not fatally damage weaker characters. Luffy can also bypass his elasticity with Haki enhanced punches as he's able to seemingly hurt liquid/intangible characters.
@alphaq: @aqualion0: Haki only works on Devil Fruit powers. How is it going to work on Reed when his power is not from a Devil Fruit? As for stats, previous posters have said Reeds immunity to physical force is leagues better than Luffy.
@ninjawarrior268: Where was it stated that Haki only works on Devil Fruit powers? Never heard that.

Do you have concrete evidence that proves your claim?

Nope. Taking casual punches from high tier characters is a thing Luke Cage can also replicate while Luffy's gonna strike down Reed with hundreds of serious city level punches in an instant.
Are you people kidding? Mr F wins. Sure, Luffy is stronger and more durable, but Mr F is durable enough to buy enough time for him to figure out Luffy's weaknesses (esp since Luffy has a bad habit of blabbering on about his own body -- "my body is made of rubber"). Mr F was able to last long against WWHulk, and WWHulk won, because he stretched Mr F's body to the limit. And with Mr F having equipments all over the place (although not specifically for Luffy), he can easily lead Luffy to one of the lairs and use that. And Luffy's weakness (water) is absurdly common for Mr F to figure out, before Mr F is beaten to death.
One of the biggest problem is that the world Mr F is from is helluva lot more advanced than OP universe. That means, even without exploiting Luffy's weakness to water, he'd be able to decompose rubber very easily. Or freeze Luffy, then take his sweet time figuring things out.

He is also faster, How will is durability help against a guy who can bypass his external durability and hit him from the Inside out? How will his durability help against a guy who can burn him from the Inside out?

How will he figure out Luffy weakness is water? you will have to have enough of it to be at least able to drown him for it to take significant effect, so how will he figure that out? he doesn't even nothing about Luffy. and even if he did I don't see it helping much since he doesn't have a enough to throw at Luffy and Luffy can fly.

Sure it more advanced. Luffy has withstand attack capable of vaporizing steel without any contact so I don't see that happening. How will he do that? you forgetting this fight isn't happening in a Lab and Luffy is far faster and can see the future so I don't see how any of this will help.
Luffy utterly stomps. This is insane to even think Reed has a chance with his own power and stats. Reed would have to invent something for Luffy to have a chance.
Feats for Luffy? Reed is underrated honestly.
He survived stuff that melted steel....really op tbh
