Mongul Jr. vs The Sentry - Battles

Fight takes place in an arena on war world, to the death. The winner will be the new ruler of War World.

Each one gets one Melee weapon of there choosing, the fans are split on who they want to win.

No void in the Sentry.

who wins and why?

No, just a melee weapon of his choosing.

P.S. Is he still collecting the rings? I know Krona has been trapping the emotional embotiments. As far as I know he got Ion, Parallax and the Butcher.

Mongul is currently imprisoned in the Yellow Power Battery. I don't know what Krona has to do with this.

I believe they can, but I've never seen Sentry actually use molecule manipulation during combat (Molecule Man was a different situation. I believe he more redirected MM's powers back on him). Mongul went against Sodam Yat when he had the power of Ion. Ion is a molecule manipulator. Now, yes, he was weak. However, even if this state, he proved capable of turning Daxam's red star into a yellow star, thus giving the Daxamites the power to defeat the Sinestro Corps.

I don't get why people think Sentry always needs the Void. The Void is not stronger than the Sentry and the Sentry is not stronger than the Void. It just depends on Bobs mental state. In the Sentry miniseries Sentry easily pwn'ed the Void.

As for this match..Mongul should win due to having more feats and physically taking on Supes.

LOL@ stomping. Mongul nearly defeated multiple GL's, including Kyle and Guy with the rings. Sentry got KO's by Herc.

"nearly", but owned by Flash and Sinestro and nearly beaten by a ringless Arkillo

As a point of fact: Sentry has never been KOed by Hercules. They have only fought once, and no one was even close to being KOed.

Mongul also has that weird plant that could show you what you dream.

Sentry power level fluctates like anything, after all Bendis was writting him. But he does have some neat high end feat, like standing up against the collective when Iron Man and Ms Marvel well both getting stomped. Fighting against Genis Vell when the energy discharge was said to be capable of busting planets, stomping Terrax (who of course is a big jobber), holding his own against Thor (no one won that match).

Then we have a whole bunch of low showing but thats sentry.
