Anyways, in a random encounter I think Johnny Sorrow has a chance. He will probably begin the battle with taking off his mask and it's very possible that would incapacitate Monarch, it has turned Shazam into stone before. If Monarch had information on Sorrow, Monarch would stomp.

He has a good chance. He can manipulate all types of energy and can turn intangible. Plus the whole stare thing, which turned SHAZAM into a statue.

Monarch is definitely better in the energy manipulation department. I think Sorrow would have to resort to his stare. Firestorm has transmuted his mask into tar before, if Firestorm could do it, I think Monarch could as well.
