Now while Extant was the original Monarch, i'll be using him in his "Extant" phase for this battle with the powers from Zero Hour.

I'm gonna go with Monarch on this. I don't know too much about Extant, but what could he do to get through that Monarch armor?

Extant was amazingly powerful, he was one of the driving forces behind Zero Hour and was a force that even WaveRyder was afraid of...

his chronal blasts were stupidly strong and, like Monarch, he could move through time on a whim

Monarch you want to be looking at Infinite Crisis and later...

Well, then I'll be undecided instead. I know nothing about Extant, and there wasn't much written for Monarch to make a case for him, unless everything from his time as Captain Atom is added to it.

I read Infinite Crisis, and I'm still reading it. I still don't think there's a lot to be said for Monarch.

Monarch, quite easily! If I remember correctly, extent became Parallax's lapdog! Extent is good, but didn't quite reach the level where Monarch is!

I can't I just hate Captain Atom.Neither seems to have any clear advantage over the other.

Extant destroys Monarch. He summoned Entropy rifts that wiped out entire universes on panel:

Not to mention he is made of Entrophic forces and literally couldn't be held even by time itself. Monarch is good, but not this good.

Loses to peak Extant, but Rebirth Extant was jobbing hard to the JSA so he'd lose easy.
