Mjolnir vs Power Ring---which is truly more powerful?
Mjolnir (a powerful and heavily enchanted weapon forged for the gods and enchanted by one of the most powerful skyfathers known) that doesn't have to be charged or run out of juice, and is known to be one of the most powerful and respected weapons in Asgard, has hurt beings like Galactus and Celestials, against a GL ring? Yeah, i'll go the the hammer thanx.

It did manage to hurt Galactus, but the ring is no pushover

The Hammer makes you a God, all that Include an almost unlimited Power source, Physical Powers, Magic Powers, Godly Powers and the experience of the Thunder God.
The Ring gives you the power to materializate energy, needs to be charged and Depends on your willpower, skills and your capacity of overcome fear.
The Ring has more limitations, and the Hammer just works with someone worthy.
In a fight the ring could win only with 100% of power and Someone smart and brave.
The Hammer could win only with the worthy person, and Thor would use your body to defeat the oponent, also If Thor is not holding back he could easily win.
I think that Both are so useful, but the ring has more limitations and requirements.
I'm with the Hammer.

Assuming one has enough willpower to make their thought become reality, then a gl ring can do whatever Thor can do and then some, not to mention it's easier to carry around all the time and has useful things like a galactic computer(to cheat on tests) a universal translator(to eliminate language barriers), scanners(to analyze and detect anamolies, etc.)
I personally prefer a gl ring over mjolnir(only if it's pre crisis, though).
@diydeath: Worthiness enchantment? That’s just as debilitating as the required willpower for a Lantern ring.

The worthiness enchantment is Mjolnir's greatest strength as a weapon.
When you're in a fight and using a weapon, what is the worst thing that could possibly happen to you? Somebody takes your weapon and starts using it against you.
This will NEVER happen with Mjolnir. It is disarm-proof.
It terms of Damage output, Mjolnir edges out. In terms of Versatility, the Ring all the way.Sure the charge may seem like a drawback, but their have been a good amount of cases where the Lantern willpower ignores the low charge but those are typically for the big named lanterns. Willpower is the bigger caveat. Still rather have the Ring.
@the_hajduk: Same goes for a Lantern ring though, and it also assumes one is worthy to use Mjölnir in the first place. Lanterns like Hal and Kyle have been able to call their rings back to them if they lose them, and no one can just take their rings and start using them. At least in a Lantern’s case, there are thousands of them, meaning one is more likely to have the willpower capable of using the ring to become a Green Lantern rather than only a handful of people picking up Thor’s hammer.
Regardless, guys like Red Hulk and Hulk himself have grabbed Thor’s hand and beaten him with his own hammer, so it’s at least much easier to get around than using a Lantern’s ring against him.

If we're being 100% practical than they're both terrible weapons because 99% of people can't use them.
@the_hajduk: Agreed lol
Mjolnir. Has a galaxy level storm chilling inside of it, can casually channel planet level impacts and attacks and handle galaxy+ level energy, basically has a soul of it's own, etc
I don't know why this was bumped; but Mjonlir is probably more powerful. All the powers of Thor is pretty ridiculous; though we saw Erik Masterson was nowhere near Thor's level with it. Though I hear Jane Foster was (haven't ready any of those; just hearsay), so who knows.
But if you could use both, Mjonlir would make you more powerful; but the ring would probably be more useful (waaaaaaay more versatile as you can make anything your heart desires, just not on the same level of power as the things that Mjonlir can do).
Thanks for reading,

Mjolnir. It is its own power source. In fact, I recall reading somewhere that the hammer likely has either a sentient supermassive black hole at its core, or a Cosmic Cube. Only Odin and the dwarves know.
Plus, the Lantern Power Ring's most powerful abilities depend largely on the wielder. Lesser beings will never get the most out of a Power Ring. Mjolnir doesn't have that speed bump.
Finally, there's Mjolnir's ability to hold enchantment like nothing else. Sure, Power Rings contain a cosmic Wikipedia of knowledge, but imagine for a minute what Mjolnir would be like if someone sat down and inscribed the entire book of the Vishanti onto it. Or worse, the Darkhold. It's one thing to have a Power Ring with infinite apps, but Mjolnir with physics-wrecking, reality readjusting magical feats beyond reckoning would be crazy. Fortunately or unfortunately, it looks like Thor only used Mjolnir for run of the mill stuff like ruining beach outings, creating impervious shields, time/space hopping, projecting his god-force energies through, and cracking skulls.
