Now, before you go calling this spite, there's only one combat round and it's heavily in favor of Burke. Now, on with the thread...
Round 1. The Legate sits in an empty tent in his camp, unaware that every Legionary there has been silently assassinated. Mister Burke, game mechanics aside, now has to sneak attack Lanius and survive the encounter. He starts from outside the tent, with Lanius facing away from the entrance.
Round 2. Who's the better Leader? Is the Legate, who has no love for the legion and no respect for covert tactics and prefers to pave his way by throwing countless soldiers at his target a better leader than Burke, who uses his army of mercenaries to ravage the wasteland and keep it a lawless, disorganized place?
Round 3. Who's more badass?
Bonus Round: Turns out Burke is a frumentarii. With Caesar dead of a tumor, there's a power struggle between Lanius and Vulpes. Can the Frumentarii, Burke included, with all their assets, destroy the disorganized Legion under Lanius' command?
